Should Chinese Level in Parties too?

I was wondering if I would get more exp and sp in parties or just soloing because in china their are parties mobs too. What are the advantages? DisadvantageS?

I find that when my hybrid INT tries to kill party mobs I use WAY too many HP/MP pots. I'd rather go in a concentrated area of mobs and start killing them one by one.

Well if there was a full 8 person party grinding at the exact same speed, it wouldn't matter. If there was a healer just res and healing the entire time, a tanker just standing there, it'd be slower. So I really don't get the point of parties...correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm expecting that I am.

I was in a party of 6 yesterday at moles and it didn't seem that i was going as fast as soloing. Really depends on the people in your party ><

Advantages: Lots more fun when your fighting along side your friends,Against monsters that have lots of hp.
The one advantage that really gets my attention is the powerlvling of lower lvls.

Disadvantages:
1) Having people leave at different times to repair and restock on potions.
2) Having Ints that distance themselves a little from the party and start a fight with a party mob by themselves. A couple other monsters spawn near them and the splash damage hits them and the monsters start piling up and they die.
3) Potions get used up much quicker. (Depends on build)
4) Trying to organize everyone..(sometimes is a real pain)
5) Not knowing if you could be lvling faster if your grinding solo lol.

Hmm, through plvling so many people in my guild, I have noticed that to get optimum experience per kill, I need to kill things 10 lvls higher then they are. This is not only true for euro characters, but also for the few chinese characters I have helped. Maybe in order to get a good experience party grinding, you need to think ahead and pull together a group of grinders that work with one another like clockwork.

Partying has some bigger advantages then u guys are mentioning.

and the tanks and support classes are meant to help organize everyone and keep them alive.

Chinese parties are great since you can farm SP and do quests much faster then solo.

Your party keeps you active and always killing mobs. Assuming you take breaks like a human when you solo, in a party more mobs are killed and more exp is given then you can solo.

With Europe you can get Tankers and Warlocks to protect the party from dangerous mobs (And save Ints).

Bards assist everyone and save MP/HP pots and buffing time, Clerics ress players and keep the party going.

Give it some more time and practice. There is great potential with this update.

Solo in Chinese is faster.
Partying in Euro is a pain.

Party lvling is definitely slower, unless u got a team that you are used to with the right professions in it.
For example. 2 Cleric/ 2 Tanks/ 2 Barbs/ 2 Nuker
You die too often in a team if your healer is not competent.
Every death means exp lost! and you only get like some percentage rehab with their res skill.
Believe it or not, if you can manage to survive as a nuker who can heal itself in Euro. It is way faster to go solo.

For chinese its worse.
Altho there will b party mobs appearing, but the time used to kill it is simply not worth it. Especially a Party giant. Not to mention the pot u consume as a chinese is really high with PT mobs.
For example, I am lvl 57 with 0 gap. I kill a Penon Giant with pt members helping, i get about 80k Exp. But it took too long to kill.
I can Kill 1 normal penon in 3 Seconds at slow and it gives me 5.2k exp.
U do the calculation, killing normal is faster.

Note: Euro and Chinese Exp and Sp earning curve are the same.
(I don't know if this is 100% correct, but i believe so from my own experience)

At lvl 5X lvling 2 lvls in 1 hour 30 mins is impossible.
Doesn't matter you are Euro or Chinese.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.

Stop misleading ppl.
Show us facts.
Do not tell us who and who did it.
If they say they did, they lied.

No, it's physically impossible due to the amount of EXP needed to level, and the amount of EXP given per kill at that high a level. Even with a PT, EXP Gold Ticket, and 0 gap, you wouldn't be able level twice in 1.5 hrs. Sorry.

As for Chinese parties, exp distribution ftw.

I speak facts, I tried PT lvling at 5X with PT Mobs, it is simply not possible to do 2 lvls in 1 and a half hours.
One and a half hour for god sake.

When you lie abt something, say something that make sense.
and you say u saw it? U were either on crack or drunk dude.

IMO chinese party leveling can be more fun and slightly more productive than solo leveling, especially in grind spots that are too packed for solo grinding. It can be alot more fun, though it felt like i used up 2x as many HP pots which can make grinding a little more expensive not to mention for most builds you have to really pay attention to your health. But it can be plenty of fun, especially because whenever you get a pt giant you can use them to clear out your grind spot of botters (hence my sig).

I don't know if anyone noticed it, but if you start up the game, load a Chinese character, and press P; it will be set for exp distribution party

If you start up the game, load a euro character, and press P; it will be set for a exp share party.

So basically, Chinese aren't meant to be in one big party and grind together.

i think that is based on the last party you were in

as a chinese character i was lvling faster on yachas with 4 people in the party (2nukers 2 glavies) but when we got 8 people my exp was slower than soloing but anyway

you lvl faster solo in china because you dont have to go back to down nearly as much for pots and repairs i mean in share party its like 10% faster 3x more pots

with parties you also get freeloaders (they go AFK while you level them)

your class/build will determine if a party is to your benefit.

Any int chinese or bow chinese will most likely never make more in a share prty with their lvl u just kill too fast and more ppl means less mobs for u...however a glaiver/blader could get more from a share with a couple competent int as int just kill so fast they will more then substitute the lost exp from being in dist.

Similarly for euro a decent wiz who is aware of his surroundings so they dont get swarmed and avoids areas where parties are grinding and spawning prty mobs will make more exp soloing then in a party. X-bow rogues can also solo very easily. Melee/support classes however need a party as it takes them too long to solo prty mobs, they need the damage dealers to kill quick.

I do agree a party is more fun and benefitial to some classes, but soloing is faster for many if all you care about is getting to a higher lvl. Also if your on a prem and doin seed quest you will get way less seeds from being in a prty.

I tried party mops for a couple of days
Then i tried solo at the same area with exp dist party
Conclusion
To get pets exp rate & results go solo in a 4 party exp share 7 train beside an auto share party
I know you use a load of pots but you get a load of exp, gold & items instead
----------------------------------------------
btw If you are in a party mop take a good look of every one bar (hp/mp) IF he's setting/tracing you Then he is a free loader Ban him from the party at once

On my chinese character, I normally just join an exp distribution party for the extra 10% and go grind solo. Often times when I'm grinding, there's an auto share party near my grinding area. Sometimes they'll end up dropping party mobs near me and they don't even see them. I give them time to come attack it, but they usually don't, so I get the benefit of the 10% exp boost plus party mobs if I want to take them.

OMG! Party mobs ftw!!! Without a question much better than soloing. Just fight a party mob giant and you'll see what I mean. It feels like fighting a unique but minus the lvl 80 ks-ing you. Also, party mobs feels like the million gold party scrolls. Don't think so much about how much 'absolute' number of pots used; it's the amount of experience per pots; seriously, you'll get more sp and exp. Also, to ensure the nukers don't get all the gold and drops; the party should be auto item and exp share. The down side is that the party mobs hit a bit harder than the normal ones; so get a tank in the party; but I'm pure int s/s np tanking 2 to 3 lvls higher thanks to snow shield. Another plus (or minus for some) is doing the quests; the quest items are also distributed randomly, so if you get the kill someone else might get the item. Compared to party mobbing with euros, the chinese side is much easier in terms of strategies; just kill kill killl!!!
