PvP in this game

Well im coming from eve online..
Possibly the best PvP game out there currently...

I was wondering if Silkroads can compre?

Is the Combat against PLAYERS

Exciting?

Or is it just I die and lose 2exp and 1 item :X?

its exciting to the extent that you gotta grind your way up to the higher levels in order to even have fun in PVP

You can attack anybody, at anytime, but if you do, you may die cause other people can attack you without penalty

^^ the good youtube videos on Eve arent the best ones ...

and NO im not tryign to compare...

Im just asking IF PVP is gay Or exciting in Silkroad

Do you lose alot of stuff when you die
or is it just you instantly respawn and lose clsoe to nothing?

(AGAINST ACTUAL PLAYERS NOT NPCS...)

So for regular PvP you actually lose all your equipment or whatever?

So basically in PvP if I kill someone I get like nothing :X???

and I lose barely anything ??

you could visit the sro website...

you can cape pvp, which is for fun, dont win or lose anything.

Or you can job war. Being a theif or hunter/trader. You lose XP when you die, but not as much as dieing from a mob. You also get points for kills/completing jobs, and get ranked.

Ok skippy in Silkroad there is a thing called Cape PVP and PK

Cape PVP = If you want to have fun and just Duel or Fight someone without penalties you equip a cape, depending on the colour of the cape, it allows you to attack other people wearing a cape, (Orange cape, allows you to attack anyone, and also you can be attack by anyone)

PK = You Kill a player by Alt + Clicking, its considered murdering, and you are treated like a murderer for pking someone in this game with great penalties., DONT DO IT.

For Job PvP can I inflict massive pain on those I want to lmao?

Like they lose lots of stuff if I bbq them?

Sorry for being TEHNOOBEROFD00M here but Ive been seacrhing for a Free pvp game besides shadowbane.

you wont get item from pvp (well it's really rare)

you wont make ton of money


pvp in sro is mainly for fun and for fame.


have you ever played GuildWars? it look a bit the same as gvg and stuff like that it wont make you rich, it wont make you stronger as in gear and lvl.


it'll give you skill and teach you how to play as a team/solo how to react. and it'll bring you fame , people will know that this one is a badass.


just like you face top 10 guild in Guildwars

or r 12+ group in HA

you crap ur pant and give respect

EVE pvp is much better, work together to bring down a ship and be able to take his modules. pvp in eve you lose you lose a lot, its not just a respawn.

Sorry ^^ eve online pvp is horrible .. u need to level about 2 month to have ur first pvp. and then u are still too weak to have alone a chance ...

Finally, From what I here SRO pvp doesnt not seem up to par..
the PVE side is prolly better though...
