I was running around in my pvp cape out side of DW, and someone challenged me to a match. I buffed up, and attacked. In 1-hit he died, I was elated, until I realized I had murder!!! Wouldnt you know a lvl 80 came along worked me over, and landed himself my sun prot chest!
At that point I realised the guy I had attacked had turned into a euro character rogue double daggers.
Anyone know wth happened to me.
As you can guess I'm not fcking happy at all

..... After reading this post im never gonna pvp again

there is a rogue skill u can use to disguise yourself as some1 else

i guess he chose a person wearing a PvP cape, XD

he probably used the skill to transform into an other player but did u used the alt key or you were seeing him as a cap player?

he was too low level to have been using that skill

he probably transform him self from a guy who pvped with a cape but he don't wear one but he looks like cause he changed his skin for a guy who pvped wich a cape so i guess even he you transofrm your self into that even if the guy does't wear a cape but has a *fake* one work.. if im right don't do that rogue player.. this is kinda nasty :S

yeah I get it, but there was no way he was a high enough level to use the skill
anyone who can figure out how to do that must also be able to figure out rogue=pure str

DD = dagger desperate
increase phy damage by 75%
Decrease phy and mag def by 75%


XXB = extreme Xbow
increase phy damage by 75%
decrease hp by 50%
decrease phy and mag def by 75%

he/she might have had 1 of these on + you get the turn yourself into a person skill on lvl 40, what lvl was the rogue

well you can garuntee once this gets around every noob will be doing it, and pvp will be a thing of the past

I became an offender tonight because this happenned: i attacked a guy who was taking off his pvp cape, less then 1 sec after he took it off i blasted him with a Nuke, good thing he did not die.

So maybe thats what happenned to you, he took off his cape and 1 sec later you killed him.

If, the guy was taking off his cape, then you would see the little yellow bar above his head.

yeah.. also if u attack someone with a cape being taken off it disrupts the bar and the cape remains on..

My friend was being a hunter then got attacked by a lv 77 thief (he is 48. He was taking off his thing then the thief shot a nuke. The hunter thing came off and she got murderer.

If you attacked him without pressing alt then it makes no sense, unless he was taking his cape off and the yellow bar thing isn't working properlu

i thought u could only make urself look like monsters with masks

Exact same thing happened to me, AFTER I read this post xD I thought I'd go mess around in DW. A 42ish glavie comes out the gate in an orange cape. I attack (and kill) said person, they end up dead on the floor as a naked euro char.

So..the bug is that if the euro char masks as a cape wearing char...then the game believes that the person is actually wearing a cape and thus allows attacks as normal...but upon death the mask goes away and leaves the attacking person a murderer...sound about right?

That's really a nasty bug! And, unless corrected, will make rogues even more dangerous...

ROgues can turn to enemies, like giants, or little enemies like earth ghosts or movia/movios. they get that skill at 20

Fire has a skill to detect this!
Before you one hit some noob click on him and check his buffs. The rouge transform skill is shown as a buff.

Even if he is like a Chinese Cape player, you still cant attack him unless using atl i gues..

this is why i never PVP with any SOS gear....they can see it and they murder you for it. level 80s can do this and not die. but joymax better get this bug off.
