how are pure int s/s nukers doing with the new mana shield?
im talking about lvl 70+ int s/s nukers

im just curious, with 80 ice (which i think only a few ppl has right now atm..) u get 50% dmg reduction.. seems amazing, and mixed with iron wall, you can tank for a bit, and with massive nuking dmg and kd+stab.... it just seems that pure strs might be disadvantaged when versing int s/s w/ mana shield


so yeh, how are int s/s doing right now in PVP?

For 120 seconds, you can double your hp (at lvl80 snow shield 50% damage reduction). It only has a cooldown period of 60seconds. Yah pure ints can tank. Nice ^^. If your opponent can tank your nukes for 120seconds, its probably a good time to run.

so im assuming that during the 120 seconds the cool down of mana shield does not begin? or else u can mana shield all the time

I'm not level 80 but the mana shield is sick!
I love it. I tanked 4 glavies 7X, a 5th came so I threw up ironwall+zerk heh. So nice ^^ (BR 19 shield was 20 -.-, stupid update)

But with out the mana shield I got killed by a blader one level higher then me with a +7 blade =\

I forget but i think the mana shield lasts 2 min and the cooldown is 3 min. I forget =\ only played my Chinese character for a few hours and went to euro (got bored).

The cool down period is 3 minutes, and starts as soon as the skill activates. Assuming your char is still alive, after 120 seconds lapse, the skill will still require a further cooldown of 60 more seconds.

Or you can just activate book 2 for a still nice absorption, since they have different cooldowns.

Really? I only have book 1 and 2 and they share cool downs...

Maybe joymax predicted that then. :/

I am not a nuker myself, but I find it harder to kill them lately then before the update, they are not godlike. Just harder to kill, however that might change when I fight fully farmed level 80 nukers.

But then again that also might change when I am fully farmed level 80 bower with stun and knockback. Since nukers my level find it hard to kill me with the knockback on my combo. I can only imange the long lasting fights with stun ^^.
