I wouldn’t mind someone clearing this up for me if you can please?

I remember reading before Europe was released that the maximum gap for party members was 5 i.e. if your level 15 then the highest member you can have in that party is 20. (Sorry no source)

Now I’m reading about people being 'power levelled' by level 80 characters from China.

So what is true? Is it possible or not?

I’m hoping that it isn’t I want people to work for those levels.

I believe so.. out euro party of lvl 20-24s were being leveled by two lvl 42+ chinese characters last night. Got a lot more xp than we should have

It is possible, but you will have to grind mobs that arnt much higher level than the powerlevelled char.

If you grind on mobs that are 20+ levels higher or so the powerlevelled char will get less xp than it would get from same-leveled mobs

So it wouldnt be that much better to be power leveled anyway, especially since you have to fight the mobs at your level you might as well just party up and enjoy yourself.

yeah, if you have some high lvl chinese kill mobs for you in a party you will level fastest on mobs 5-10 lvls higher than the powerlevelled char, but you will miss out on the fun, drops, quests and actual accomplishment of leveling it urself

still alot of people are doing it though.

yesterday I saw some lvl 70+ chinese level an entire 8 man party from the same guild >_>

Also what helps is the party monsters they added, if a high level can one shot a party monster than you get like 10x or something like that the exp of a normal monster.

but they kill it so fast then you have like awkward silences of no pt mobs for a bit, over and over.

hard to find a good spawn place too.

mm yeah but if you run around some with a party tracing you can find alot of pt mobs, not that hard... Ive seen 3-4 pt mobs in one spot often now..

(not encouraging people to powerlevel nor do it myself :p)

Well they don't just spawn in one place they spawn all over, and if your having troubles finding party monsters then invite more people into the party.

that kinda sux, npc gear the whole way cuz no one is up to lvl with you and since ur bein powerleveld u dont get any drops.

Power levelling is junk, maybe that will be the new major gripe since (fingers crossed) it looks like botting is slowly fading away.

On the spawn front I found last night that keeping my 8 man party in exactly the same spot was the best tactic as the party mobs just kept spawning on top of us.

if ppl get power lvled they will not know how to play with their char popularly so its just like botting

1 Guy (Darkcrome from greece) was powerlvling me and another char, he was 80 en we were 17 and 15 This guy ownz!

weird, on csro i got powerlvled by a lvl90 chinese character (i was 20) on pennons.. each party pennon was like 1%... and gaint party pennon were 10%

csro and ksro dont have lvl restriction in share partys, we do. we are diferent from other versions.. as always <.< ..

Im powerleveling my guardian academy, including a char that it will be for me (I have it on the pc that I used to have my stall). Its absolutly true that one of the best parts of europe is grinding on party, so that Im doing is every day powerlevel them some levels and then grind on party when I got bored of killing crabs, chickens or insects. So basically on my guardian school we have half time powerlevel and half time manual grind (they are just lvl25 so Im not all day farming their chars ).
