ok i was looking at the forums on http://www.silkroadonline.net

and i noticed people saying that the rogue with daggers is the weakest.
The thing is this was coming from people below lvl 20.
I answered thier questions; with the truth

after 20+ the pure str rogue with daggers deals 2nd highest damage in the game
because of this after 20+ rogues could be considered the pure str counterpart of the wizard

the reason rogue with dagger deals 2nd highest damage after lvl 20+
is because:

Of thier buff
which does the following:

1) increase phy atk by 75%
2) increase phy atk by 9
3) decrease mag def by 75%
4) decrease phy def by 75%

and these buffs can only increase right? so when you lvl that skill imaginr how much more powerful you will be ^^

in the end game the pure str rogue with daggers will prove to be the most resourceful build in SRO

i was trying to get the awareness out

because people underestimate rogue with dagger

we are 2nd strongest and i wouldnt b surprised if at end we are strongest

You just basically said rouges suck. They do high damage, but your defense goes down. Damn, i'd rather be a Wizard with the HP reduction then having my defense down.

Theres a reason why being hybrid in Euro is better then being pure.

Well it's only 'natural' when you look at it in the 'traditional' sense. Rogues were/are always the deadliest (it comes with the territory, regardless of thematic/storyline/lore angles) and it's pretty evident if people had ample experiences from RYL1/2, Lineage etc for examples.

Problem is, a lot shares the same misconception of 'being deadly' = 'can tank 5 while killing 10', hence the reason why most of them confuses the part where; DDs/DPS = DOES NOT TANK and crits at maximum only in an open chance.

If they don't know how rogues are supposed to function or be played, automatically it's a weak class for them. They just need more time to learn the grooves really.

it just ticks me off when people kick me from party unless im in cleric mode, they dont even know that i hit higher than the tanks warlock bard and cleric, only build hit higher than me is the wiz

and why would you wanna keep information from people,
get a wizard and a rogue
give them both a full sosun set, every stat +100%
rogue will outdamage the wizard by far,
i really wonder what class you think could do more damage
that goes for damage over a longer time and only one shot

have rogue's do their level 40 skill (the one that requires 10% hp), in berserk, with crit, with the damage buff, out of stealth
it will give the highest damage possible

and people with some brains could have figured this out for themselves

and besides, if there were 60% rogue's, some people would figure out warriors/full strength's are the best to match them, and it would get balanced again due wizards pwnding warriors, and all that stuff, blabla

What's the point of uber-damage if you're gonna die in 1-2 shots, especially since Euro is aimed at party play and all.

because i can become invisible and come up from behind and shank you. You will never know what hit you.

Pretty sure moving or attacking whilst stealth cancels it out, but I haven't checked the Rouge skills yet.

\Wiz's have stealth detection tho, which helps provided they're quick enough to use it. Poor 1/2H Warriors are outta luck tho...

Rogue's especially dagger is extremely deadly when under Stealth because they can attack so quickly and they have tons of moving speed increase skills to get quickly out of there. Also crossbow can hit from extremely far away to one shot people that didn't even know you where there.

i'm lvl 15 now, but last nigth, i party wit a bunch of lvl 6-10, 1 cleric, 1 bard, 1 warrior, other rogue, 1 warlock, rest wizards, in the end, the only reason my party survived was becouse my knock back, wen the cleric or bard get mobed by a pty mob, i was the one tht get the mob away with knock back. at the end all become 15 or 14 in a hour or so.

Someone can think that rogue is weack, useless, etc. But the people in my last party will disagree.

It really depends on the player. The not mentally gifted constantly run around with Dagger Desperate active, can hardly take more hits than a pure int. and complain about the healing.

Who cares what other ppl think of one build its your character and if your satisfied with it then

i can solo and party

i mostly party
im rogue/cleric

and rogues CAN move during stealth
the whole poitn of rogue is too sneak up with DD and stealth + the dagger speed boost and basically OHKO everything that moves

+ DD also makes you hit max crits, so when you crit its maxed,

in other words with a good dagger (high crit and atk rating) + DD you ownz all

who needs def when you got offense


and yes i am satisfied, i just hate when people say rogue with dagger is weak it ticks me off, being forced to heal sux

good for you, I can kb and kd by lvl10 so im happy, were all happy those annoying ppl who talk to much crap can go sit in a corner and die.

i think rogues are pretty strong .. they have very very strong attack but their hp is not that great. I seen a lvl 83 rogue 1 hit crittical a lvl 90 pure int sword/shield during pvp..

rogue crossbow is stronger by far than daggers. but be both anyway if u have lots of time to farm.

you, when you come across a euro s/s

im equal to euro s/s on my lvl i pwn them, then they come back to life and pwn me, and repeat, sometime i win more times than losing but thats cause i spam grains

spamming grains ownz all
if i sneak up on you i betcha you would die

beware of the rogue dagger baby, they gonna stab yo ass to death. pure str dagger with a crit 18 sweet lovin dagger, buffed up and ready to kill will easily crit any build do death in a matter of seconds

first need to max out my main before i'll play my euro

I frickin love rouges, i started out with one made him to lvl 11 in 3 or 54 hours and messed up on him a lot so i mad a new rouge char str pure and im only lvl 13 didnt goof on thisd one and i just like to say i own so rouges frickin rock

Crossbow ftw. Love those super long range skills they've got. I end up shooting from almost the other end of the screen hahaha.
