Man, theres like nobody on Odin who seems to know how to play properly in a party. Anyone else notice that almost all parties lvl 1 - 20 have people who seem to think they can play exactly as they did before?

So um, Yeah, also new to the server. If anyone can help me out, or has space in their guild, I'll be happy to join (Will be playing a lot)

I also restarted on Odin, but I guess it wouldn't be better anywhere else, since the game seems to primarily attract the 'younger audience'.

Managed to get hold of one party, but about half an hour later I dced.

Everyone else just joins a party and gradually wanders off so that theres only 2 people left in one place, neither of which is a cleric, and then all of us die OR just get really little exp.

Same here. Rerolled on Odin and I have to concur with Biscuit's post. We got too many soloist idiots running around handling the 'general' mobs, and with the same sets of faces yelling for slots (later and with a thick skin too) at the tougher 'partying required' spawns.

Forget Odin.. I think this applies to most European lowbies in all servers.

I just came from odin, and uh...

Is it just me, or do most of the euro players seems to be retarded? Heck euro sro is for partys, not to solo, yet I see solo wizards in Dowhang now... And then they die and whine about pots- Im serious.

I don't party with people randomly anymore, I need to have a set arrangement before I'll join...

I don't need something like that. Parties with item distribution work just dandy for my cleric/bard. Haha

haha YES. I joined a few euro parties and everyone was all over the map. I was like wtf and was telling them they needed to group up. Noone even talked.

And then people have the nerve to say euro chars suck....it's because noone is playing them right.

What I forgot to mention: People not entering any level range or party description makes your life not necessarily easier.

Most my arrangements are crowd control:

-Party Mobs, Champs and Giants only...no normal mobs unless aggroed...Party mobs are very very abundant...no need to really kill normals...

-The standard Xp-item share...

-Party must have atleast 2 tankers...

-Party members must stay within a specified area...there really is no good reason for a warrior to run off after a mob when ranged chars are plentiful...

-No AOE spells, no lightning bolts, no penetration attacks when mob luring...

Party members who cannot abide by these very simple basic rules will not be helped by me...and if most of the party can't abide by them then I leave...

Take the initiative and make your own party. No invitation rights for anyone else, so you can controll who gets in. I just tried and got a good combination of classes together.

The people I try to get into my party are already in one >.< Its usually the low levels who want to be in my party... and I have no other choice.

Put a level restriction on it say your lvl 20 then accept any 17-25 or something like that also put in discription of what u need. I seen only 1 party that was set up right it was accepting 10-20's and it said right on it only need Clerics + Wizards. So everyone knew that is all he was accepting.

there are also jerks who join the party and stay there do nothing ... free xp and drops ...

Don't worry, there's leeching, annoying, mentally deficient players on every server. You just gotta smack some sense into them, or boot them from the party and find someone worth your time.

Thing is, theres only 1 - 2 parties that put up what sort of a thing they want in their party to join, and me being a lvl20 Rogue/Cleric doesn't really let me join any of them

At least when I do get a party it's a nice one.

@alZen : My guess is, from how a friend of mine fights, they're warlocks who don't like to attack first in case they get killed so when they attack later theres not much dmg to do on General Mobs.

I have a similar problem. My bard class gets displayed as my primary, even though I selected cleric at first and raised bard to the same level later on. So even if I try to join a party that searches specifically for a cleric, I get declined from time to time. Well, their loss.

Same here today
I wasted 2 days on the Matching system.... Geting some rogues/warlocks ruing around the waterfall and the forest of sorrow... I mean really i told them to come...But no,they were lv 14 and killing the lv 8 mobs..... and i on my lv 13 wizard was one shoting the lv 12/13 mob's.... <.< But later the party mob owned me and the lags were great... i could not see my skills... After all that i quit Zeus

Now i joined made an char on Herc... The server is great,hardly any lags,nicer ppl....

I got myself to lv 8..after that i went hunting the lv 10 mobs at the Baroi camp... I got my party full in about 10 something mins.... You start out on small and end up on having an full party.... From a party whit 2 cleric/bard ended like an

-2 cleric/bard
-1 1H warrior
-2 2H warrior
-1 DD rogue
-1 wizard
-1 warlock

as you see i some how got almost all from everything and everything needed...... I hope next time i log in i ill find guys to make such an great party

As an clerics i really like when helping others.... Everybody need cleric's to stay alive or not end in a town.... One Thank you or even an small tx could make your party member be better and makes him do his job better and whit more will

And, plz do remember to make it item autoshare when u create a party. It's unfair for the supporting players.

Well its the same in every server most likely. Think about how long we have played in the solo style, its hard for people to get their head around it. But it gets impossible to play solo, and after they learn the hard way they have no choice but to party.

I play on Odin and im adding different players to friends list who acn actually play propperly in party system, and when i get on try to construct parties with them. You may have seen me around my char name is Achillies (lvl 25 warlock). Yah i know EXACTLY what you mean, ive only found 1 warriors who actually know how to tank, forgot name was like dfrit_(somethign else) if thats you leave a response cuz your a beast lol. I find 75% of the time im tanking my own mobs and generally no one really helps or even attempts to get them off me. Id say a good 90% of tanks ive seen repetedly knock down there targets... hmm smart since your lowest damage in party and making it so only you can attack, great logic there. but thing that pisses me off the most more then anything is i actually play my class correctly, and do mob control, so ill put adds to sleep, and say ill have a mob on me and have a mob asleep and ill say help and then theyll attack the mob thats asleep and not help me, that makes a lot of sence also. Or ill have a mob asleep(meaning when it comes out i aggro it) and ill be chillin waiting for tank to take it, and thenn hell run off an aggro 3-4 more mobs so yet again im stuck tanking atleast 1 or more mobs on my own, no wonder JM gave warlocks life leech, they must have expected shit like this to happen. if tanks wana solo the mobs and look cool with knockdown, then go solo or play chinese dammit.

Add to my list of good players on odin: Pure_Str_Lol , xxxTSOxxx , That warrior drfirt or what ever , Optimystick , Achillies (me ) , xxFatalityxx , Amante. There are prob more im forgetting but thats a list of the good players ive seen so far.

my favorite is the bard/cleric who doesnt actually do anything tho, just goes afk and leeches. Cuz obviously a bard wont do as much as any other class so they get away with it easier, 80% of bards ive seen havent actually done a single thing, just go afk and leech, i ask for buff, no response, clerics are about the same, just sit there let us die do an occasional heal afk again. party wont kick them cuz they need the res, so they never get kicked and get away with doing nothing.
