Hmm I doubt it can get any worse :D and I think this is actually one of the better developments JM could have added to the game and no I'm not german nor turkish. It will make it easier to learn how to play the game and will help people to faster lose their "newb" status and thus HOPEFULLY make the spamming less :P

Its a nice step taken. Whats wrong with making it easier for two of the most spoken languages in game?

It would be awesome if we can add our own language packs.

I think spanish is the most talked language in this game, after english.
The only thing about spanish talking peope is that they talk spanish to spanish talking people O.O and not to everyone.

i dont support this. english is not my first lang but still. this is god damn isro so people who play it should know at least some english. i can't believe they put turkish. you really need to be a jerk and always shout in your language to make it somewhere. i hope they never add french just because ITS FRENCH.

IDC what language people talk to eachoter, in guilds or in unions.

Its just annoying if people *talk* to you in some language you dont understand, then you tell them polite that; I dont speak the language youre talking, please talk english..

And then you get something like ..... YOU, GIMME MONEY B1TCH

...this has nothing to do with a lack of education. Some of the brightest people I've talked to barely spoke English.

It is rude, though. There's no reason people should be using other languages in the game, in cSRO you speak chinese, in k Korean, j Japanese, in the international world you speak English, and that's that. I'd rather talk to someone with horribly broken English than deal with someone who wasn't even trying.

The ONLY way I'd approve of this is if languages were limited to their region- Chinese characters limited to players speaking Chinese, Japanese, or Korean; Europe characters speaking a Romance or Germanic language; and Islam speaking Arabic or turkmusun.

Of course, they'd have to overhaul so many damn things, not to mention toss out the differences between races to make it fair to people...

I'd be nice if it would translate the most common words...

...English, Spanish, German, French. Russian, Tagalog and Arabic (not Turkish) would pretty much cover everyone...people would atleast know enough of one of these languages to get by...

This feature doesn't mean you have to stop to speak english with the community. What is so wrong with adding something that improves the gameplay for alot of players. Just because the user interface is in a certain language, your ability to speak a foreign language won't be lost. Stop beign so narrow minded and be happy for the players that will get something good out of this.
