Hey everyone. I've been trying to buy Silk for the past few days now, but I get a problem. I'm able to chose payment method and amount just fine, but when I am forwarded to the actual PayPal website to complete transaction, it asks me to insert my credit card information. Shouldn't it give me a choice of what account to pay with? (I have two debit cards and one credit card connected to the paypal account). Does Joymax only allow Silk charges via Credit Card or something? Every other time I use Paypal to buy stuff, I'm always able to chose which account I want the funds to come out of, but not here.

BTW: I do have enough money in my paypal account to cover the cost, so that shouldn't be a problem either.

Anyone know whats going on here?

idk...i buy silk all the time and i use my debit card on paypal

When you set up a paypal account, you should set up your debit card info before ordering silk and save it to that account.

So when you order, the info will be there already, and you just click "purchase"

Entering your debit info is same as credit card info. Don't worry, I had the same questions when I first got my debit card...

I don't need to enter my Debit Card info. As I said, I already have two debit cards attached to my paypal account. I make purchases with them allll the time. For some reason, when I try to buy Silk it's like it ignores my Debit cards and my credit card and wants me to insert new information for an entirely new card.

When i used to buy silk i'd use Visa Gift cards from the store.
On them it said Debit and i just set them up as a credit card in paypal
and when i bought silk i just had to login to paypal and click pay.

my advice is dont use paypal. Your debit card should have a VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER Logo if not you cant use it as if it was a credit card.

It doesn't have a Visa logo, but it does have a Plus logo which is a registered trademark of Visa - will this work too?

Just try setting it as a credit card in paypal and when
you have to pay on silkroad's site just login to your paypal and click
play.

The PLUS network is completly different from any credit card network, and will not work with paypal. Trust me, I've looked into it.

I cant buy silk either but thats because when i try to login, put in my info and such it just sends me to the main page not logged in.

i have a question relating to paypal and gift cards. Whenever i register a new visa giftcard on my account, paypal takes a dollar off of it right away. But in the past experiences the dollar was refunded after a long period of time. I remember reading somewhere there was a way to get the dollar back instantly but i cant find out how. anyone know how to do it?

Try to log-in again.

If that fails, different browser.
