Despite the clear fact that it is illegal to do so, it could be. It is quite hard for a normal user to measure luck.

Hummm i have my own tought about this lucky stuff...
U have like 50% of getting it done and 50% of fail... with lucky powder
55% and 45% same for Lucky on equip
60% - 40%
and for premmium make 65% - 35%

it to improve a item to +1
And -5% to next lvl and after +6 it is 10% i guess xp
letting u 5% of getting it to +9 ;p

xD

good thoughts. I suck at math, but wish I knew more about probability... I know the basic stuff like if you have a 1/2 chance to get heads or tails than say you want head 3 times in a row than its a 1/6 chance

we dont know the actual %'s behind the alchemy but if you figure 1/2 as just "fail" or "success" and since with powder +1 is gaurenteed than

1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2* 1/2 = 1/8 chance for +5 ? is that seem right?

nope 5% if an extermely small amount even with the stat bonus's it gives for example

if you hit 4k with that extra 5% dmg you would hit 4.2k and its an even smaller amount for less dmg

Seems like alchemy success runs in a cycle for me - I'm able to do some nice changes after several tries, but then can also get caught in a crappy pattern where don't get any good results. If you have a bad pattern going (especially with the ruby stones, they suxors) - maybe try breaking that pattern by letting someone else try alchemy on it for a couple of times and see what happens. If it doesn't work for them, try it again - hopefully that will get it to work. Law of averages after that many stones says you have to get a decent result eventually. :banghead:

+5% to such a low chance already isn't gonna make too much of a difference.

At least not $15-20 worth lol.

My 7D and 8D garm set all went to +4 first shot with lucky powders (every piece) and my 60 blade went to +7 with no astral or immortal.

I think its made a difference for me :P

Laws can carry to the country being marketed too. But seriously its just 5% it might give you a couple +s but its not a sure thing

I just avoid alchemy in general and buy + weapons from people who have the gods on their side.

Definitely not worth $15-$20 for crappy 1 in 20 chance... wth is that?

If they really wanted to be pulling in the punters to buy their glorious PTs... make it something decent like 1 in 4... +25% chance.

@Suppaman...

Alchemy is key if you haven't got alot of cash... but yeah, I get what you're saying: if your luck stat is crap... just don't try. :P
