Many people seem to be going crazy because they believe that Joymax is pro-botting, because of the announcement, but I think they're wrong.

The announcement means they're finally activating gameguard! Bots will no longer work in game, ever.

So hurrayyyyyyy!!!!!!

Gameguard has never been activated.

omg you guise they are just adding a check on their servers to all clients connecting to them to ensure they are legit.

i assume they will be checking bit size, checksum, date modified, etc.

You know how you can "turn off" a cellphone, but it's still on? If you didn't know, well now you do.

Gameguard has the same thing, it's not on, but it's still there. You have to just stay out of it's line of site

I cannot find that particular video as of yet, but I'll explain it.

These guys go download a bot and activate it. They try it on isro, and it works fine.

They then try it on ksro, but as soon as the gameguard splash shows up, the game crashes.

They then go into the game files, and find out that isro's gameguard is dormant, whilst ksro's is active.

I figure that isro is finally gonna wake up gameguard and get some stuff done :)

Hopefully they won't start using Gameguard, that basically blocks out anyone using WINE.
