First off, I know I'm not a mod. Don't think I'm acting like one, please.

These were taken directly from Ryoko's Forum Rules.

Signatures may include:
One large image 550 x 200 pixels or less
Two small banners or one large banner 550 pixels or less.

I have noticed of late that either the mods aren't bothered by it, or people are just being dumb and leaving wallpaper size sigs in. I, for one, call an end to huge signatures *cough JackBauer, VforVendetta, triv1um, tyfly, vindicated01, StuckUp cough* just to name a few. There are still rules besides Sui's 5 ways to get banned. I suggest we all follow them.

Adblock FTW! I dont see MOST of the sigs on SRF. Ive blocked them all.

I even have the animated smilies blocked because certain retards like to spam 500 of them across a single post.

Some signature's are indeed to big.

I don't like adblocking images- I prefer bitching at people to change them if they suck

Adblock PLUS FTW. As for the signatures.
The only thing mods can do is PM a user and ask them to change it. Only admins (Ryoko and Sui) can actually change/remove their sigs.

adblock wont save srof's bandwidth whoever said that....

the images are still there, just filtered out of your view ^_^

pretty much everyone has adblock plus, its the defualt download.

but.... your awsome if you have the filterset g updater extension... its an adblock filtering tool that updates it regularly, so you pretty much see no ads ever.

Right click and go to 'Properties.' It tells you the dimensions of the picture in your sig.

Well, why you guys are so against large sigs? I think they're great to see, cos it makes it less boring. And it reveals a little bit about the poster's personality.

They are annoying. They make the number of posts per page less, a lot of them are crappy and not pleasant to look at, they take up bandwidth, they slow down the load time of a thread and many, many more...

I just hate the really big ones thaty stretch the post or pages a lot.

If I dont have to scroll across the page, I'm fine with everyone's sig.

My policy is basically, "If your sig is longer than your average post, get something smaller"

Another good idea is to look at the post reply box. Anything bigger than that is really pushing it, anything under half the height is (almost always) A-OK.

Also, If you have two sigs that are pushing it, your sig as a whole is way too big >< morons

I meant I gotta scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the bottom because the sigs stretch it waaaaaaay further than it should be.

OK... since someone said something . I made it smaller and now it fits the rules of the forum .
