I'm in dire need of a rant, or I may just go bonkers. (if this isn't the right forum, move or delete, or tar and feather me.)

So, I'm standing idly at Jangan South Gate, minding my own business and twiddling my thumbs while I watch all the pretty sparks and bolts of lightning fly by, basking in my lvl 15 gloriousness. But not for long...

I start reading and following a conversation in general chat. First mistake. It's between two higher lvl's and apparently one of them lied about their lvl and was being "pwned" by players with lower lvls than himself. This angered said other higher lvl and he went on a roaring rampage of revenge...sorta. They went on and on and on about it and eventually, I no longer minded my own business. Second mistake.

I admit, I was a bit lippy and somewhat involving myself in a conflicting conversation that I didn't belong in...but there has got to be something a little more dignified than bickering like little girls over whose teddy bear has the bigger nose. Right?

Now, he later made the comment and valid point that I wasn't even lvl 40...no sh!t Sherlock...he even went as far as to say that somebody my lvl didn't belong in a conversation of that sort, let alone about lvls as high as theirs. Oh, really? Third mistake, I guess.

That last point of his stumped me. I did not know this vital piece of information. I, a mere lvl 15, cannot converse with a lvl 80? Who woulda thunk it? Not me, obviously...guess I'm behind the times. I'll get right on that, promise.

Okay, onto the mini-rant that has dwindled into a sentence because of my epic story above...Just because I'm lvl X doesn't mean I'm any less intelligent or conversation worthy than any lvl 80 out there, you elitist spunk rag. Fin

PS; If you cannot find the humor in this, and didn't enjoy my thrilling rendition of my experience in SRO, please either go back or exit the page. (The snooty dude still owes me a pink fuzzy teddy bear, too. I'll have to make note to remind him sometime tomorrow.)

People who have no lives (the level 80) are not willing to speak to people who do have a life (you). They can't understand you so they won't talk. Hehe

He might've thumped my nose, but there was zero smacking involved. I was steamy because he kept emphasizing that somebody like myself with such a low lvl isn't allowed to speak to or about a lvl 80.

You can't call piss rain, unfortunately.

Of course it is because you are noob...Don't you know there is a minimum level requirement for talking to high lv people? Generally a rule of thumb is 5 level below, if you are in same guild 10 level below, if you are in same union 15 level below.
Now you know.

unfortunately the mentality of the majority of gamers in silkroad (and those outside of it on the forums) is generally their level inverted.

I'm talking preteen with half the rubbish they spew from their world holes, it's just something you'll have to try and ignore.

level never accounts for anything... if you suck at pvp, you suck at pvp, if you're an ass, you're an ass being a capped character doesn't me you a holy crusader on a life quest to glorify the fact your 150 pounds overweight and like to wear girls panties.

Dont most people who buy silk end up spending more time on this game AND spending more money? I'm not saying I support botting, but I DO think they spend less money then legits who buy silk.

Yeah I'll never understand the confusion of ideas that make a high level player think that low level players are not worthy of a simple conversation. I've met some lvl 70+ players that were pretty nice and I could have a conversation with, but I'm lvl 47 right now. I can't say the same for when I was below lvl 25.

We're all people. Yes, the original poster butted into a conversation that perhaps she didn't belong in, but that doesn't give the lvl 80 the right to treat her the way they did. I could understand a "this conversation doesn't involve you" kind of response, but not a "shut up noob, you're only lvl 15!!!" one.

usually when I answer someone in 3-4d when he pm me or say my name I hot trade spammed or 10k please spammed <_< . but yeah it's like for high lvl some are cool some are just plain retard

Dunno why higher lvls feel the need to be jerks. Hell, I'm still being called a noob at 72, lol. I don't care...doesn't bother me.

I could understand him saying 'A-B convo...' but not the insults. That's why there's so much hostility between the lower and higher lvl players. Lower lvls get treated like crap by higher lvls and then are hostile towards ALL high lvls. Higher lvls don't help the case by constantly belittling the other players instead of trying to help and what not...

Bah, Silkroad players have no manners.

You just have to shake it off....jerks are jerks, no changing that. Just scribble down his name in the 'people i need to pk when i'm 80' list and move on...

most lvl 80s are cocky and most lvl 80 ints can't play there characters i see them pvp with only nukes in my server you can tell they botted

LOVE IT !!!1 I had a stupid lvl 62 who could only hit me for 4k damage on a imbued galvie attk dunno what skill (the spinny one that knocks you a mile)... I was Pvping and e got so mad that he couldnt one hit me that on a normal hit that he followed me around the whole place killing me when i res'd...

I was pebbled and thought it was quiet funny

a level 15 talking to a level 80!!! what has the world come to. Soon you will have equal rights marches in hotan by low levels damanding that the seggragation into seperate towns in unfair!!!

I really hope you were kidding with this...it doesn't make him/her a noob, it makes you an ignorant douchebag. So what, she was nosey...without places like srf, us "noobs" will run around like retards having no clue as to what is going on. I talk to everyone, no matter the level.. I'll befriend just about anyone who is nice to me, but ignorant people like that make me laugh. Yeah you can dish out some insults and i'm sure you're capable of 1-hitting me at level 80, but it doesn't change the fact that i'm laughing at you irl if you say stuff like that.
