Cleric int or str?

full int cleric would heal and have enough MP to heal heal heal and do a decent amount of dmg to solo grind but would get assraped if it ever gets caught.

full str cleric would have low mp but would be hard to kill. also partying would be a must.
theres a skill that does "absolute damage" so it doesnt matter how much int or str u have youd still be doin that amount of damage.

so whats it gonna be? Confused :?

[it was in char/skills sec. but seems like it serves for a good discussion] :?

Put stats into what ever your preference is. Not sure? Don't make a cleric then :P

Why try to make solo builds when groups lvl faster with Euro......Making a cleric = automatic party invite.

I would say... Int or Hybrid...
The skill that does absolute damage kills himself if i remember correctly...
So, its really only usable under certain circumstances if u r to self destruct.

I think it's a 905 life sacrifice, so if ur full str you will have hard time to heal urself back to top :)


but yea if you go pure healerI would say str is good but I don't know about energy management for cleric yet :S

INT and use Protector for Phy Defense.

It's not a good idea to solo grind with an euro char anyway, not because getting raped by mobs, but even grinding fine, the XP sucks. Solo with an euro is painfully slow, but if you get yourself a party it can become pretty fast (ask VforVendetta, he has talked about it some times).

Up to lvl 39 you have like 2 attacks only (the suicide move that takes 95% of your HP is lvl 40), the absolute damage one (lvl 20+) and another that's Mag damage (lvl 4), if you are STR the last one is useless, and you can't rely on the cooldown time of the first one to grind. My bets go to Full INT, if you are in a good party, you will never be touched (unless a mob spawns right on you, but, in that case you should only recieve one-two hits tops before the tanker does its job, unless you have a bad tanker of course). If you are in a bad party, why do you bother to do good? Better change it...

the "absolute damage" skill is not the sacrifice skill, its a different one.

R4C1: Over Healing
Skill form : Active
Use Weapon : Cleric rod
Effect:
Deal absolute damge to target, disregarding his defence.
L1-Absolute damage 623
L7-Aboslute damage2964

The problem with over healing is that it's lvl 20. If you want to be STR,how will you grind to lvl 20 with only one attack skill that's Mag damage? And if you are in a party, you would do better as INT because of the larger amount of MP. INT > STR for Cleric imo.
