sox drop myth?

i have lvl 6x blader, never had an sox drop EVER.
my alt, which is lvl 3x, has already had 3 sox drop...
now ive heard many high lvl ppl say they've never had an sos drop ever
and many other ppl that gets sos keeps on getting sos after sos...
im wondering if gaymax has some sort of luck roll on your character the moment u make it, if the luck roll on your character is below certain amount, u never get sox... lol
i know it sounds dumb, but all logic points to this

i think it is true and the luck value is probably server side since there is no evidence of it in the client but many of us including myself have very similar stories to the one you posted above that character with the many sos is probably also good at alchemy

It is a matter of luck in
real life, not a variable in the game...

its pretty random.......but not all high lvls never get sos drops i mean there is still 8d stuff sps in stalls ....u think they make em? no they get em off drops

why can't everyone except the fact its random, however people who r Irish and have the Irish luck tend to have more sox drops

yeah, its random.
but being able to kill mobs 24x7 helps a lot though.

I never got a sox drop on my 69 char but my new Alexander char
just got a lvl 29 male sos garm chest at tigers o.O
Knew it could happen, Just didn't think it would.

It's not really random... when you create a character a random seed is generated for your character which determines the amount of luck you get. It's true that some characters are indeed luckier than others.

dude I've friends who get SoX all the time over and over again,and there are those who never get at all !
I believe that what you say is true
but yet evreyone says it's random so w\e!

its true, the more you grind, the better ur chances, if u grind ur character from lvl 1-80 only on GT time, u have half the chance of someone who doesnt use GT...so 24/7 "grinders" obviously have a much higher chance of sox
