well its for stoiping bots am i right well whatsa the point it doesnt stop them..... and i think it would be a bit easier if we didnt hav to enter the code lto log in

it stops clientless gold bots.. because it makes u have to use the sro client to login. goldbots used to just be a program that connected to the game server and was not graphical so it reduced the system resources used. this is why u used to see like 10 goldbots in 1 area because they were all being run off the same system. so to sum it up, yes it does serve a purpose. if it were not there you would see a significantly larger number of goldbots.

even though the clientless bots are stopped
the servers are still always full, all the time and full of bots, bots the gms always seem not to notice and bots that we can even see for ourselves just about everywhere
so is is the verification code really useful?

There not always full. I cant stress this enough. You just log in at bad times. I can log in for about 8-10 hours on a weekend while Olympus is on crowded.
And they do notice, they just dont stop it.
Reasons stated above for the purpose.

It was only for slowing them down, but its been owned by now, the only point for it now is to piss you off.

That's true. On weekdays I have absolutely no problems logging in.
However I still haven't figured out the less crowded moments in the weekend. *gets another dc* >>
