is it against the rules? bannable offence? where does the gold come from?

buying gold crushes the econemy. if nobody bought gold i would be able to afford decent equipts, and i think a lot of people would agree with me.

so all you gold buyers should try to boycott the gold companies for at least a month. see what happens

buying gold is against the rules since your not supposed to sell in game items for real cash. As for the economy if less gold was ciculateing then items would cost less, since so many buy gold more gold is available and boosts the costs of items. Gold is possable to make in this game without buying it, but the proccess is long and hard. this game is about being the best right at this moment not when you can get the gold, so people buy gold to get the items they want right this instant.

Though it would be good, no one is gonna boycott the gold selling companys.

boycotting them will never help it only will make the gold cheaper.
stop buying gold is your only answer.

im sure joymax could do something to stop it. but they dont seem to give a crap about the people playing. i guess we cant do anything about it

When the MMORPG games started becoming famous, many people played them. But there were some people who liked the games, but had a life. So that those people, who have a life, can be as good as those who play all day, some very smart guy invented gold buying. A few low paid Chinese sit in front of a computer, pressing the same boring button over and over to make gold, so that the people who have a life can buy it.

Some other people didn't want to pay Chinese to farm gold. So they searched for a new method and at the moment where they wanted to stop, a hope came. That hope was called bot. Bot was a effective program which killed monsters on it's own. So these people started getting more and more computers, so that the little bots can make more gold. Right now, there are tons of these little gold farming bots, who fill up the room on each server, destroy the economy of the game and annoy everyone, except other bots.

So now please tell me, is it good or bad?

i just looked at a few gold sites and they say they dont bot. which is probably a lie.

when/if joymax stop botting the econemy should sort its self out eventually.

one of my buddies buys gold weekly and the site he uses also now sells silk. according to him it is sanctioned by joymax. i haven't fully researched it yet, but he uses thepowerlevel.com. so, if it has reached these levels of obsurdity, we are farked!!!!

Hmmm............ it says on that site they sell silk. What would the purpose of that even be? Isn't it more expensive then if you just bought it from joymax?

BTW Death is right, there are many cheaper and legit ways to make gold. Buying is silly in addition to the other things mentioned above.

The second to worse thing one can do to mess up silkroad even more.

It's just as bad as botting since.. most of it only comes from botters, the only difference is it just not the botter whos using it.

End result = the same no matter who uses it though.

The worst part is when gold buyers say "When are the botters
gonna stop botting and pvp with us "legits" ".

Can't buy in game products thats not a product of joymax silkroad.

And as for gold buying. I can tell you, out of 50 people in srf atleast 40 of them bought gold.

If that gold was earned with effort then yes but in silkroad one big NO since goldbots are the one making us pay for premium tickets to be able to log in.

gold companies are simply abusing people's greed.

i always though that buying gold is worse than boting. i mean if u buy gold its like ur supporting hundreds of gold bots

You are jealous cause you don't have any 1337 hax0ring skillz. There is no injustice done by punishing the gold farming companies/botters due to Joymax's inaction.
