--Video Graphics Quality~~

I was wondering which quality you guys use; one that makes everything look nice (and somehow doesn't make your game slower than molasses ) or one that makes everything run smoothly?

I use the very lowest settings including the ones that "Low Quality" doesn't change just to make sure I don't get too much lag - even if it doesn't ever work. :banghead:

Always play every online game in low quality so i get the best fps I possibly can out of it. Helpful in mass pvp or mass guild wars.

i prefer the lowest of the low. but with char and background distance on 5

this is the best settings for grinding.

i find that if i use max settings you get tired very fast. to much going on. needs to be simple and easy on the eye for me when grinding.

and as for bloom effect. ..... me.

Everything on max except for shadows, theyre badly coded and just make you lag for no reason.

draw distance at 3
char draw distance at 3

all the little bells and whistles on except bloom effect and shadows

I run at about 80 fps with these settings(30 in town and 200 in the caves)

Always in low quality so I won't lag out in towns or wherever in the game. Especially when seeing high levels have mass war jobbing.

1. How can you figure your fps?

2. How much RAM do you people have?

It's nice to have the settings high, but afterwards, it's pretty laggy and defeats the purpose

PS - I have 512mb ram

AMD duel core 3800+ 64 bit, 2 gb ram 667 mhz, over clocked 7300LE 256 video card
all settings maxed but:
water ref
water detail
boom effect

my fps drop to about 15 in hotan when it is packed, when grinding it is like 30 to 40 fps

dual core 2gig 512mb nvidia dx10 and i play on lowest settings :P

i cant stand bloom, or when the light gets in your eyes.

i only have metallic sheen and background/character draw distance to 5.

i get about 80 fps griding and 30 in hotan.

Lol I didn't expect that to outcome. I thought from the beginning of this thread that people would flame me for asking because Everyone used the lowest settings for least lag! :P Goes to show searching and threading helps.

PS - How do you figure your fps? I've played only one other game (not mmo) that had an fps counter, but it wasn't as useful of info as on an mmo :P

Highest of the high settings. Everything maxed. I love the wind effect that maxed settings gives my spear and Gold Dragon Flag.

I have a 2 gig AMD 64 processor, 1.5 gigs of ram and a 512 nVidia Dx10 card. No lag in town what so ever since I upgraded my ram. MAX SETTINGS FTW!!!!
