Because now on top of mindless grinding needed to either get enough SP or to get to 80, there's not even people to talk to during these wasteful hours. Who remembers the days when you could strike up conversations with the people killing in your area? Now everyone is a bot or doesn't know English or both.

Maybe that's why everyone comes to the forums now...

I remember on my second character grinding on yeowas how everyone around me was a player. You could stop grinding go over to anyone and start a conversation. Then when I started my current (a year later) character and went over to my favorite yeowa spot no one was there. I typed in chat and no one responded. I could not even grind there because there were too many people (oops I mean bots).

I miss those good old days, just making conversation with anyone in the area got your mind off the grinding that you had to do for hours, and even crack jokes about how lame a quest was, but now its just bots and grinding is a very lonely thing, hopefully with the Europe expansion and the game becoming more party oriented, this will encourage people to become more vocal and actually take part in playing the game, rather than letting a program do it for them.

Hopefully...but I dont think so. What will happen is that the botts instead of working solo will unite and make bottparties and level up with the speed of lightning.
And sro is ghostly silent. Botts, botts everywhere. Only place you actually see players are around the pvpareas near the gates.
Wouldn´t surprise me if SroBott version5.7 whatever will get a pvpfunction too

If you could make the bots invisible, iSRO would look just like kSRO or cSRO. Thats just so sad

Nah they do that so they could own... So yeah at pvp they are showing up their "hard work"

But yeah its true theres not many real ppl around... And i get sick of bots spaming you to join an party.. thats why im always in a 4 person

YEA!!! U F*CKING RIGHT SRO WAS 1000000000000000times better 1 year ago....all using hand,all talking ...now mostly botters and never speak...

Am I the only one who finds unpleasant to talk when I'm busy grinding?

Um.. I usually like to talk to friends when I grind, either ingame or in vent. Would loose my mind if I didn´t Well Ive stopped grinding whatsoever now but thats another story.

But you do level faster when you dont talk... But I need to talk. lolz

Silkroad is what YOU make out of it you can blame every bot in the game but if you cant socialize then blame yourself.
there are always people to chat with or you are doing something wrong.

I try not to mix in with people that intentionally cheat and ruin the game for others.

sro needs less complainers and more problem solvers

The problem solvers can only be on the side they call Joymax or Game Masters. If they aren't, they can't do much. Unfortunately those on the Joymax or GM side have proven incompetent.

And the players still pay for the game, JM has made sure of that, so I think they owe it to them to fix stuff up. Too bad we as players tolerare this situation.

All SRO needs is Random events. I mean this wouldnt stop bots but it would would stuff them up, and be somthing different for legit players.

There are indeed alot of botters lately, get's insane.
I'm not sure how it is at higher level monsters, but at yeowa/blood flowers, there's like 100 characters called assdfs around, all same armors, all same weapons, and all do skills at the same time.

There's even like 5 people everytime, humping the walls because they got stuck.

I talk with my whole guild on Teamspeak, so grinding is never dull or boring, plus it's too hard to grind and type simultaneously. So I suggest you make friends and use Ventrillo or Teamspeak.

uber you make it very difficult to focus on your posts with that avatar. but anyways, yeah I loved the old SRO. Where every guildless person was a possible legit recruit, not ugh more bots. People botting would leave the guild not to give the guild a bad name. You wouldnt have to specify Legit Players when recruiting, it was just a given. But now, such a different place.

but i agree. i remember those days too. uh im getting nostalgic sighs. i remember even in towns there were stalls at the corners, but now there are only in centre and by shops, myb some at the gates. the city is half dead and when u go out there are bots or turkish people who say stuff like show wepon plese.

maybe it's like this also cos i for example don't have much noob questions to ask in game. i know i have many times made friends with ppl who answered me to a question. who knows
