Anyone else notice this? About the compensation event.

Unless they changed it, I think that the compensation is bugged. It is supposed to be a 30% increase in exp/sp exp(correct me if I'm wrong). I am almost 100% sure its only 10%, at least in aege. Before the event, killing a Niya Shamam got me around 12k exp. During the event, they only gave me 13k exp. My guild leader, also noticed this. In a party, he got 129 sp exp with no ticket. When he signed on, and killed a few mobs without being in a party, he got 129 sp exp. The same he would of obtained with the 10% increase in exp from being in a party.

Yeah, I noticed this too. Maybe Joymax will realize this mistake, then firx it, then give us another even to compensate.

Joymax is cool like that (sometimes).

I typed this whole thing while suspending a Little Debbie cupcake in my mouth. I typed it all once before, but something went wrong, so this is the second time I've typed it.

Are you guys sure that you don't notice the exp change?

I get about 1029 exp from blood flowers.

With the 30 exp increase, that means 1029 x 0.30 = 308.7

Add that to 1029, I should be able to get around 1300 exp(which I do).
Same with my friend, he's getting the right exp.

Don't know whats wrong with your guys exp increase.

lol, you should do 1029*1.30!!!!

and IF you wanted to know the difference if there was a difference, you can do ((new-old)/old)*100

so for example: if you got 1000 exp from a mob, and now 1200 --> ((1200-1000)/1000)*100 = 30
so the difference is a 30% increase

I'd like to know whats wrong also. Currently I'm farming 9 gap.. 1 kill per karra = 1 SP on the bar.. I literally see NO change in SP counton the bar as far as im concerned. I've noticed up goes up about 1 bar and 5mm. Can anyone check if FatMax messed up again?

It is giving 30% like they said. You probably are comparing the old exp in a 4 man party to the new increased exp in no party. Yea, you aren't exactly going to increase 30% if you do that.

it is 30% increase, there's no bug, it's working fine...

old sp gain 155sp exp
new sp gain 201sp exp

Also, ((1200-1000)/1000)*100=20.

So... Simply put... You're crazy.

old= 230 sp new = 293
230 * 1.3 = 299

JM strikes again....clearly they just were ina hurry to keep there event date promise....they'll patch it when they give us a new event to make up for this one :roll:

Before the event i gain 177 sp each sonars kill (with party) and with the 30% increase on the event i gain 230 sp each sonars killed (with party)..

then i calculated:
177 * 0.30 = 53.1
177 + 53.1 = 230.1

so there's nothing wrong on the event..
