ok i've been farming them for more then a month...


I used a sos +4 sword (808 mag attck) and a shield 52+5 br 18

im 52 9 gapped fire light bicheon at 43 heurksal at 30


usually I can 1 nuke + kd/shout a penon or just simply mob everything with 1 nuke and kill them with second fire and light bounce (wich is pretty funny to do when there is not alot of gold bot <_<

but I found a sos spear in a stall yesterday and made it +3 +100% AR int4 str 5 mag attack 61%


then realised I could one shot penon like 1/4 with second fire nuke... but I can't mob as I used to do and can't handle 3 giant anymore

so I was thinking should I sell all my stuff and try to get a som +5 spear? it would allow me to 1 shot penon with every nuke im pretty sure

but I wouldn't be able to pvp since im bicheon and i'll delvl heurksal after my farming so I wont get it higher.


I think I can reach around 150m-200m if I sell all my som/sos collection so it could get me a decent spear


but what keep me from this is

1- someone already told me on this board that he had a som+7 and couldn't one shot penon <_<

2- I'm afraid I wont be able to resell it fast when my sp farm will be done <_< and I'll have to use weak weapon :S

What if you bought a som sword? I'm pretty sure any som should be able to one shot if you have good int bonuses.

not sure about the som :S I think it would hurt as much as my spear right now so it would still be a 1/4 one shot but I would rock people in pvp for sure lol

Maybe up the magical damage on the spear?

id go for S/S

fighting 3 giants + be able to pvp seems more attractive to me

yea my balance is 111% :S

dunno maybe I should go for +4 or +5 magic atatck is +60%


one thing I'm not sure is if magic atatck % will go down if I +5 it or it'll stay +60% :S

Using an elixir will never alter any white stats. The only exception is the duro reduce you get from not using steady.

thx cause I know blue stone can change white stat even without absorbtion (happened a few time <_<)

I could one shot them with sos +3 61% magical attack. Wasn't 9 gapping then though. Can't you go to Ishade? I'm sure you can 1 shot those easily.

keep your gear, put the sword/shield in the quickslots and enjoy your grind a bit more (switch to sword/shield when needed)

go dual?

well, they must have one gimpy- ass build if they cant 1 shot a mob with a som +7!! thats like a 52 +12 ffs.

yes do it, i also farmed @ penons, and i had 52 SOM+5 spear, i used flame wave burning and i could kill them with one nuke. and btw, you maybe can handle 3 giants, lol i only needed 7 nukes with zerk to kill a a giant

farming at penons doesnt give you both knock downs and stabs cuz of the 9 gap so ur a sitting nuking duck anyway in pvp.

id go for the stronger spear nukes lol.

SOM? If you got an SOM, you would one shot no problem...

Unlike me, who has a sword and shield, obviously non-SOanything and a 9 gap at level 55...

I nuke, nuke again, nuke once more, lion shout, nuke just for the hell of it, watch said Penon drop to the ground in a dramatic death, and dance at my victorious kill until some giant comes running along and kills me...

Or an aggro Planar...

And repeat...

If you get a SOM 52 Spear, kill Sonars for the cold spector stone (4 wind 2 ea) and be happy that you will be very rich when done. With my sos +5 spear and a 9 gap I could one shot Penon Fighters easily. I had maxed int and str on EVERYTING I had, jewels included. Do that and you should have no problem what so ever one shotting Penons with your current SOS Spear.

No need to buy a SOM, just buy a SOS+5 spear, you don't have to delevel any sword stuff, just use the spear to farm with using your nukes.

The best way to nuke if you can't 1 shot them and they spawn good is just give everything 1 nuke each, the AOE effects usually finish off whatever hp they had left.

should i farm my s/s pure int at penons ? i did 30k at bandits and im dead bored

yeah but if I'm buying a decent spear I want to be able to 1 shot them all the time cause I can already nuke+lion them with my sos +4 sword :S

Hell yeah, farming at the bandits is for nubs, you have to delevel after every grind, the gold drops is so small amounts, the drops aren't worth much, the spawn rate isnt as great as everyone thinks, penons are much better, they spawn in huge bunches and there's always a nice spot to grind in, drops are worth over 100k each and if you get a good sos weapon drop that's another 50 mil in the bank, plus you can job if you want to wheras you can't if your under level 20.

I tested both and I farmed like 20 k on 4 diff char at bandit penon is way better in 2 week at bandit you can amke aorund 10m just doing gt I can do over 1m in money just by doing one trip to penon then you can sell int stone and drop you got with elixir so you make lot of money pretty fast and a penon is like hum 2/3 of a sp or something like so it's still good and you can do something different when ur bored

I don't have a bunny so I don't make money unless i pick up by hand

10K sp in 4days without gt so far and only deleveled once so far.
due to delevel again tomorrow. And who says you have to delevel after each leveling.

As for the money side of things it's all relative to your level.
I make 300K per day in drops just npcing, and without pets.

Should be finished getting 70K in 10 days.

You got to know how to play the game.

Sorry to be rude but i disagree with the arguments.

Farming at 16 - 20 at the Bandits is more cost effective than at pennons.
Sure pennons give more valuable drops, money wise drops, but this is relative to the level and what it costs.

As for deleveling all the time why?
Every 4 lvls is fine doesn't have to be every time u level.

10K sp in 4 days from start with 1 delevel is good.
I want 70K sp and I anticipate just over 2 more weeks and it will be finished.

Oh an bye the way that's without GT. Not required or though it would help.

It's knowing how to play the game, making money comes later.
What do you want fully farmed till lvl 72 or farming at 52 your decision.

As i said u got to know how to play the game and legaly.

lol 300k a day, you can make that in 2 drops at penons and you don't have to delevel once, all the time your wasting delevelling dying dozens of times over and over is time wasted when you could be sp farming.

And 10k sp in 4 days really isn't that great, when I was at penons I'd just grind my GT and then finish off my pots, usually did 2 rounds of pots and I'd get about 3000 sp out of it, which is 12k in 4 days and 100 times more gold and better drops.

You say you know how to play the game but if you think 70k sp is enough to be fully farmed all the way to 72 then you might be in for quite a surprise lol

My current builds worth over 330,000 sp and I only got half of that at penons, if your just gonna do 70k there you may as well do it elsewhere cuz you'll be out of sp by the time you hit the mid 50's.
