How many of you high lvls play completely without silk? After cave grinding without monkey/tickets, it didnt seem all that bad to me. Do any of you guys do it?

I aint 60+ yet but it seems impossible for me for legits to do it without silk after 70 O.o

I played with no silk at all:

Level 69 STR ice archer -> grinded absolutelly hardcore everyday.
Level 50 STR thunder blader.


Gonna buy silk on Pacific now, for my farm.

I have not bough silk for over a month but I'm gonna buy some in time for the compensation event

Yea me too.

Of course I still play with Silk. Yes, I do think that JM overcharges for some of its stuff... all of its stuff actually, but what can you do about it? None of us can do anything about it. Yes, WoW does cost less per month, if you look at SRO as a P2P game, what with the PT now and all, but each and all of us that buy Silk are attracted to this game for a reason.

I started buying silk at 60x when it was taken 1 1/2 weeks to level up. lol Gaps, with no gold ticket really sucks.

+1 - there is no substitute for the pet, they save so much time and make grinding more efficient.

Haven't been playing isro lately. cSRO is too much fun. But I have never bought any silk for my isro char and hes like 80% to 61. =)

i don't buy silk .
im ligit.my current character is almost 60
and yes it's not that hard to play without silk, although you feel frustrated when you see lower lvls catching up with you

did not buy silk for a while out of protest but since that did not seem to help i cant live without glad i can use the PT now cause its sure is a hell to log in.

grinding without a grab pet and trying to log in without the pt is kinda hard

I havent used silk since like Nov last year, although I haven't really played too much, I still wouldn't of bought any though >.>.

I might get some stuff when the new update comes though :d.

Wow, currently, there are more people who don't buy Silk, then those that do. Currently, or from those who voted, anyways. Kinda surprised me. I thought the majority of SRO players bought Silk.

Just bought some silks haven't used it yet. Want to see what the update really is about first. But just from using the free 1 day helper tickets convinced me to buy silks if you want to be farmed and/or lvl quick. Also works for lvl-ing a wolf that's low lvl!

Just 1 day of 100% sp bonus; I farmed 1500 sp. That would be 1/2 without the ticket. This doesn't sound like much, but to put things into perspective, my friend who farmed 40k sp would've had 80K sp If you're cheap like me, the sp ticket is less than $8 US. I am also blessed with no login issues because I play after 5pm EST.

i start to buy silk when i hit lv 64 but i buy gt 1 day for 1 week!

At this point, the last thing i want to do is give joymax money

I buy silk sometimes , Good to have it anyway if I need something later on.

have not bought silk and i am lvl 65 and 9% to 66

there are a lot more ppl ingame that buys silk. srf doesn't equal the population of sro.

Heh i bought a gt once and there was no going back. Not to mention im an alchemy addict, spent like $7 on astrals today
But i finally got my som bow to +5 so its all good
