anyone having frequent DCs nowadays? everytime i need at least half hour jus trying to log on.. then after when im on, 5 minutes or 10 minutes i get fcking dc for no reason.. fcked up game -.- yet so addictive:P

im pretty sure thats not how it works on http://www.rev6.com you can see that the server cap is 3000 but the number of players often goes well over 3000 i think this is due to premium tickets

yeah they boot people for pt users >< but if you have it everytime it probably is something with your internet connection

Yup. Think JM even admitted it somewhere. However, they said that they D/C people who have been AFK the longest, like stallers / people who go AFK in town... but I think that's BS. They just D/C random people.

I've also been getting disconnected all of a sudden and rarely ever have connection problems since I'm on cable internet. I've notice I randomyl disconnect everyday for the past week or so. But unlike some people, I last longer than 2 hours at least.

If that is the case, I don't think they would admit it however.

It's not that bad for me. I don't D/C at all, actually, except when I stall at night. When I wake up in the morning to check my stall, I always D/C'd about an hour after I leave my computer. Never when I'm playing SRO. Strange.
So I think it might be some of yours Internet connections.

Gotta be random. Sometimes I can stay logged for two days, then other days I get d/c'd every hr or so.

It does stink - they should change it, or move the PT users to another server to do their time.

A week or two after they added the premium items i managed still to stay logged in for like 120 hours and stall,and even then i did a restart to my pc,but after that i couldnt get in anymore (:

i am pretty sure non PT users get DC because of PT users...i get DC all the time since we have the PT..

I'm not sure if they really do dc people, if they did to make room for a PT user than why would the server capacity ever exceed 3000? A none user would simply be replaced by a pt user.

It does make it pretty much impossible to login though without one cuz PT users are always allowed on which is probably why it's exceeding 3000 so often and with the limit at 3000 and actual amount in game being much higher, if your dc'd you've no chance at all of getting back on until it drops below 3000 again which it won't do until the early hours anymore.

I use a PT but I still don't bother logging out, if I'm done then I'll just sit in town or stall for a while.

yeh..sometimes maybe the dc is due to connection problem.. but mostly there's no prob with my internet connection when i dc:) so they do dc non-premium users to make way for premium users..

before PT, i NEVER got dc problems. Now, I get dc at least 3 times a day.

in relationship to this topic, all i have to say is... PT USERS FTW! lol XD but ya... on my non pt account, i some times get dc'd also

Been happening a lot more than it has before it came out but its not too bad for me.

You don't get D/C when some PT user try to log in, you will get D/C when server go above 3000 - 3010 users. System must allow PT users to log in but in same time he need to keep respect his limit of 3000 users.

I also got DC'ed again in DW.

Well, I guess I won't be able to play again until Monday. :*(

i think its more to do with the lagg then the premuim users, uf u lagg alot especially in most crowded times, u wull get dc, u dnt lagg cuz premuims log in, no1 gets dc without lagg or somthing like that unless tere was somthing rong in the games system...

it happened to me once were i was near TG and i took 1/3 of her hp alone then i got dc.... wen i came bak i found out that she was killed by som1 else, i got dc wihtout lagg or nauything.

i think if u go to places like hotan or dw near the stallers wer u get alot of lagg, thats the place u will get dc .... IMO

ok im a pt user and i still get dc sometimes. Mostly when im fighting a lot of monsters at one time sometimes just random times. A lot of times when im scrolling to town or from one town to another.

i got dc'ed like 4 times the other day just in the middle of trying to train >.< and whenever i logged back in (a half hour+ later) i would get on my char and both me and my wolf have died >.< so so annoying

It feels like they randomly dc people because the dcs are so random. :/ One week it's fine then the next week its a dc every 10 min.

And to all the dumbasses who say "Omg Get a Battur connecshun!1!1" I'm on a cable line and I can play any game other all day without even a hint of a problem. You mean to tell me it's a coincidence that as soon as I start sro my connection gets problems? Stfu.

ive had premium for about 20 days and yes, u dont get DC cuz of "premium" itemes or anything related, the last 20 days ive been trying to sell what i had, about 20 mins within stalling with premium i still get DC, it completly random on that part but the only thing is that if a premium user does get dc they can log in right after again
i got dc 4 times in a row on a guild war every time i died i got dc i also found another way to get dc, if ur puting auto deny on trading, while ur doing a trade it makes a random error getting u out joymaz has a lot of things to fix

I haven't been playing SRO very much recently because of real life, but the times I do play I don't get disconnected and I don't have a PT. I bet the system either disconnects those AFK longest or those with the worst lag. An for those who get disconnected often, don't say you have a 20mb connection because throughput is not an issue here. The main issue is response time or your ping time. If you live in the middle of the boonies, don't expect to get a stable connection.
