Haha, anyways... in regards to this thread, I ended up going for the switch. Used $15 in Silk, and did the rest in Curst Hearts...

And I'm LOVING it. The backflips, the jumps, damn, the BLADES, FFS... and my skills aren't even close to being up to speed. I'm running an 11-gap for Bicheon right now, and I only have one point into both my Heaven and Ascension Chains, and all of my other skills as well...
But for some strange reason, I'm doing more damage with my Blader than I was doing using a Glavie, with Heuksal Skills on 56 (as opposed to be my Bicheon on 54). I manage to take down a Devil Yeti in one Evil Cut, and then a Heaven Chain to follow up. And yes, I'm on Devil Yetis not for the EXP or SXP, but to pick up Curst Hearts quickly.

Anyways. Just wanted to share my experience with you guys, and say that switching to a Blader has been the best choice that I've ever made in my time playing SRO... and certainly, the most exciting.
Oh, and I got new glasses today. None of those round glasses stuff. Squarer glasses. Makes me look very sexy.

Pics below, just in case you want to take a look. I have to say, I'm surprised that this is actually my first time getting a Blader past the low 3X's, considering that I've made an entire guide about it...





Managed to get a +7 Blade and a +5 Shield, too. Probably going to try for better later, but this will do for now.

P.S. BR 14 sucks. 17 and higher is good. 10-14 is low. 15-16 is decent.

Yup, cool screens though and nice blade, 8D blade = sexiest in game.

I dunno, man. I'd have to say that it's in a close contest with the 7D Blade. But it sure is sexy...

uBeR, I know. I'm going to get a better Shield soon - just using it for now. Really want to get all those Curst Hearts first, and entirely delevel my Heuksal before I get a new Shield. Besides, it's not like they hit me for much anyways.

But had lots of fun while playing it.
You probably should of made the switch later on in the game. Grinding= the sux.

in my view thay are nice to tank in pvp and with good looking combos, but a little boring to play (well, more than a little...)
btw why are u going 11-gap?

I agree. D7 > D8 shield. D9 will own both, however.

I'm running a 9-gap right now. My Fire and Lightning are both on 56, but since I just deleveled Heuksal, I don't have enough SP to get it up to 56 just as of yet. I only got it to 54 for the Petal Sword, or else I would've just left it at 51 for the Chains. I'm going to get all my Skills higher than L1 before worrying about closing it to 56.

I think BR is a scam.
I had a BR21 shield on Athens, and rarely got blocks with it.
My 52+5 is BR16 and blocks almsot everything.

Just thought i'd throw that in.

BTW, I see that you've gotten rid of your large banner Sig. Glad to see it. I saw your pic in the Who Are You Thread in the OTL, and that girl in your Sig did you no justice.

there is two HUGE problem with bladers.

just to let u kno i am a blader too ^^ they do rock

1. ginding is soooooo long especially when i dont hav a GT
my mate is 57 and im 47 and he is pulling away rapidly with a GT and a glavie


2. SP required to have a good pvp required is the most out of all builds.

i am required to sp farm over 200k sp to get lvl 70 skills but even then it will take me AGES as i dnt have a GT.

lol my problem is im not pure. i have 31 int points added but sum people tell me its a good thing as i do more damage ^^.

hmm as a glaiver you wouldve been able to kill me..mayyybe.

but now as a blader, hah ill go eat lunch and come back to see you still trying to kill me

The damage that you see in the Pics are the parts of the Chain that do the least damage. An entire Heaven added up, I do more than 5K. Which is more than my Glavier did with a Flying Dragon Fly, and a SST put together. Or around there, anyways, heh.

And sure, I know the grind speed will be slow... but I don't mind. What matters is the game being fun to me, and TBH, a Glavier was the most boring class EVER. (No flaming, please). Just SSS + Mars. Forever. And ever. And ever. SSS + Mars, all you need.

Good choice on the switch, Fena. I did the same thing a few weeks ago and Its the best thing I ever did with my character. Its fun, interesting to watch, and if you get your own personal technique down you can grind faster than most bladers and kick ass in PVP.

And i'm a blader also and I love grinding cuz of the awesome blader chains esspecially the heaven chain!!

I have never died by a non sun glavie my level. However, I HAVE killed glavies my level.
So much for kicking bladers ass.

i must admit, its almos impossible to kill a blader your lvl if u dont have sun weapon...BUT a blader cant kill a galvier his lvl..never...

u say u killed glavies your lvl...they just had npc garment on...dunno...but a blader my lvl cant get my HP under 9K...

i killed a glavier 2days ago and he was 2 lvls higher then me and he had sos.

he took about 2k damage off of me at lvl 49 and dont reply saying im beter then that blah blah blah cuz i hav 4 sos's on me so u couldnt.
his glavie was +6 (he stalled it) and all his gear was pimped.

i owned him about 5 times before he gave up.
so no1 tell me that they could do better then he could cuz i dont care. bring it on. aege lvl 47 _Veku_

also. glaviers are good no doubt but a lot of them hav sun weaps or whatever. bladers are v good and no way the worst build
