joymax thoughts about fixing wind bug with pk2 edit

what are your thoughts on this i mean its not like its going to give me any advantage over someone else you know
and if you are going to ask why it says athens i am NOT going to post on joymax forums with my in game id lol

Technically its not a 3rd party software.. but there is a convenient way of fixing the wind bug without pk2 edit, its just not permanent.
Open SRO client > Dont hit START > Hit options > Hit graphics quality > Hit to the RIGHT till it says NO CHANGE.
But I think you have to do this every time you open SRO, or if you change any settings in game it will undo the fix...

nope it stays until you edit a setting such as trade on or off and such

Why she realy must explaine it ,read the Silkroad online Terms of Use I belive is enough to understend why pk2 edit is wrong. And you mix whit thiers files.

Agreed! But I think what MD needs to do is to clearly explain that editing the client is not acceptable and will be a bannable offense, if that is in fact their policy... at this particular moment... cus we all know it could change any day now!
EDIT: For those who want to know what the wind bug is: Currently some things in the game are kind of stiff.. originally the graphics displayed some detail like your character's hair moving with the wind etc.. So if you really want to know what it is, then just try what I suggested. After you open SRO and before clicking start go the options and change the settings to no change.. Doesn't hurt a thing
might make ya lag a bit depending on your comp.

A bug where everything is stiff. Hair, garments flags etc. Some people, like myself. think it's very irritating.

wouldnt we all love to know what their tos and policys are
they have been changed but not updated on the site its the reason i got the ban apparently

SRO admin are aware of that bug, but if they edit that "1byte" it will cause another bug much worst than the wind effect.. so they need to keep it just like that or they need to recode the whole client.... i believe they will use different client this europe patch so lets all just hope it will be fixed

The os isn't 3th party application and can edit files or even lower level than that

The wind bug will be the least problem.
There are bigger expoits in sro euro part, and they know only a few of them,
that I made public. (16m dmg bug)
Since then found more and didn't spread it around like that.

well for some of you that don't know tou can fix the wind bug without pk2 edit
the way to is do is open the silkroad launcher, then go to option on your launcher, go to graphic quality click on the arrow to the right until you reach Not change and then click ok. there the wind bug is fixed
this is for people that don't want to sue pk2 edit or don't know how to.

yes but i like to play with a fixed behind chr camera not free cam so i dont like this option
