The -34 pieces" part are X-large pots. When you pick them up you will see it like that.

Ummm...no they arent. If they were it would say "Item [ - 36 pieces] gained" It wouldnt say "HP recovery potion (medium)".

had this 2 some time ago, it was like "-50 hp pots large gained" ... and i'd swear there were pots missing... i thought it was just me lol

Sometimes I get something similar that because of lag, if I quickly pick up 2 pots, it will first say 'item [HP recovery (medium) 2 pieces] gained.' then it will say item '[HP recovery (medium) 0 pieces] gained.'. Dunno how this happened though. o.O
