With the new auction in place this July, will that mean people will no longer use globals to help them sell/buy their equipments? Doesn't this make globals useless and which means they will only be use on flaming other people, guild recruitments, etc.

Honestly, I don't think so. Maybe a LITTLE bit, but not much.
When you see a global saying, "WTB (insert item name here)", they're sending the global out to the entire server, not just the stallers. Sure, since the stallers are inactive, if they have the item, they won't be able to respond, but on the other hand, they'll reach all the active, grinding players that may have the item in the storage or such, wanting to sell it.

Globals affect active players. Inactive stallers don't see them. So since people use Globals to reach the ACTIVE players, the new stall system will just make it easier to look through the inactive player's stalls.

From what I see, you won't be able to sell sets in the system so you'll want to use globals to alert the server about the sale of your set.

Aww I got dissapointed when you said auction (its a stall network, more like a ingame market board iirc). The stall network is certainly useful, and theres always a use for Globals >,^. Thought there was a feature for player run auctions *dissapointed*. I like auctions a lot, and have had heaps of fun in the past running them in other games. SRO is just not equiped for it .
