Euro <> China - a few questions

OK, cool Europe is coming, but there are also a few things i still don't understand.

1. So, since Europe is a new part of the game, the existing servers will be upgraded, people will probably need to download new clients, but will people then start with the new character on the old servers (existing once)?

2. Related to Q.1; If the answer on Q.1 is "yes", can Chinese characters go trough a portal to Europe or on some other way?

3. For the more Europe experienced people; Since, probably, Europe and China characters can meet somewhere, (since Europe is party based system and everything) does Europe stand a chance against China in 1vs1 or 2vs2 PvP (since China characters are solo based)?

No you will still have the same character, level items etc.

2. Related to Q.1; If the answer on Q.1 is "yes", can Chinese characters go trough a portal to Europe or on some other way?
Yes you are able to go through a portal to the new areas.

3. For the more Europe experienced people; Since, probably, Europe and China characters can meet somewhere, (since Europe is party based system and everything) does Europe stand a chance against China in 1vs1 or 2vs2 PvP (since China characters are solo based)?
You will just have to wait and find out.

if it is ok to add a question to that:

will there be any use for chinese characters to go to Europe part? To grind for example? Or will the 'chinese' monsters stay the best way to grind for chinese characters (off course same question for euro characters: will there be party mobs in chinese land to?)

other then to ks euro noobs, there is no reason to go to europe with a chinese char. europe monsters go from level 1-40 only. both races share hotan and the level 40+ monsters.

1. You will not need a new client, it will just be patched into the current game just like they did Taklamakan. You will not need to choose a different server.

2. All Areas are interlinked in one way or another from Constantinople Lvl 1~20 Monsters. serving as the Europeans first town, leading to Central Asia where mobs range from 20~40. From there on you will be in Hotan and all the places you are familiar with.

3. Warriors will stand a good chance in 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2, but other classes such as Wizards or mainly int based builds will have trouble pvping that is unless they can kill you in less than two hits, which most can.
Rogues on the other hand is a case of kill them as fast as you can or you'll be kissing the floor.

Not really. It's mostly kill off the pure ints first then take down the full str. And they also have AoE poison, by which I have heard does alot of damage.

Exactly, but in some Job wars I've seen outside 2nd Europe town (Forgot the name) as soon as the rogue would give himself the 75% phy attack increase buff that has many decreases everyone would just gank him, and he'd be dead in 1 to 2 shots of a Glaivier if the Rogue doesnt hit first, its all about timing, they are somewhat an assassin class, if you fail to kill in the first try then you fail altogether. :D

You don't have to worry about that. Euro characters can kill monsters their level in 2 hits or less (At least for the first 15ish levels).

Don't forget Rogue can go stealth too and you need a potion to detect them :banghead: :banghead:

1) You keep your characters

2) Yes

3) Europe and China is amazingly 'supposedly-balanced'. Basically that means no pot wars between Europe and China, it is a fast battle. When I watch pvp it rarely lasts to a 25389045 minute Chinese pot match that we witness everyday. As for which is stronger, China definitely owns all same leveled similar gear 1 v 1, as for group battles I haven't really seen too many, but I think the Clerics of Europe will be better than all those healer characters we have here...

I believe you can go invisible, and only fire can detect you (and rogues can detect invisibility too).

So, you can just be waiting outside of dw in your hunter suit, waiting for some noob to come out for you to own. Then all of a sudden you start taking damage, then like 4 rogues appear out of nowhere! Before you can react you're already dead, lol.

That's best case scenario anyways.

rogue, wizard (ice element) can go invisible but has reduced movement speed aft going invisible
rouge, wizard (fire element), warrior has skills to detect invisibility

there are pills sold by NPC shops to detect invisibility too

Crossbow + blader will be the new PvP superstar IMO. Both ranged and hand-to-hand knockdowns will reign... :D
Together, there is no stopping them.
