No more popping?

It says the new update will have thieves spawning hunters but I didn't think even KSRO did that yet, I've never seen any screenshots of npc hunters?
Does this new update mean 1 stars will be attackable and will need hunters? If not all the traders are just gonna be taking 1 stars and thieving will suck, the only fun I've recently found in jobbing was waiting around for some 1 star then chasing him with my horse lol
On the other hand if all trades are attackable, your just gonna get the level 80 camping all the exits.
Finally it says hunters get a share of the traders exp when they cash in the goods, but whats to stop the trader from kicking the hunter from the party before they cash it in?

1 stars will have protection, and yes it will be tons of 1 star trades.

Traders will boot them, o_0 thats for sure.
Also there aren't gonna be many thieves after this update seeing that people can only have 1 job, most people will be trader or hunter so you will not see many job wars. Thieves will have a hard time, lol for sure seeing that we will be outnumbered. But I'm used to that, hehe I been waiting for this update plus 70~80 skills will only make this more interesting

Not really, there will be so many thieves giving up, there will just be the few.. the elite...

If it turns out to be a little off balanced in the begining with the majority going trader/hunter, we will for sure see lots of multistars. That should bring out the inner thief in alot of people and making them switch.

1 stars are still safe but this update is soppsed to encourge Muti star trading for more profit for the hunter

Imbue from light npcs hits everyone near by, even if they're not part of a job. I'm assuming that you can use it to kill 1* traders also.

speaking from the experience of cSRO, merchants lvl over 40 doing 1* can be attacked by player thieves
it is also possible for murderers to attack newbies

You can do 1 star, but just watch out for merchant & theives with loads, cuz there npcs can still kill you if your not jobbing , thats how koreans kill botters on ksro ^^. I don't know if the npcs can hurt ppl jobbing.

Yeah I heard that thiefs can still pop with lightning npcs... heh...

Merchant npc thieves I can understand but what do Hunter npc's do when thief is dead? I'm presuming they just disappear, or try to find another thief.
Do trader npc thieves alawys go for the trader the spawned for first or the closest one (can't remember right now). If they go for the nearest trader then you'll just get a Thief working with a Trader (who is usually a thief

)to 1* pop??

yeah......not so much.....cuz when i was just 3x the only way you guys could pop me is if your thieves were directly attacking me, so ur lightning thieves wouldn't do crap, or enough to kill anyways

That wouldnt be enough to pop most traders.

they wouldn't, hes just saying that as the npc hunter is attacking the player theif, then the splash damage from their lightning imbue could
possibly cause the death of low lvl traders, but imbue alone does shit for damage, so it probably isn't gonna happen

yeah......not so much.....cuz when i was just 3x the only way you guys could pop me is if your thieves were directly attacking me, so ur lightning thieves wouldn't do crap, or enough to kill anyways
Just have the light archer keep attacking you and run up to the trader... EnD

We will still get popped... some high level trader will still follow low levels and their theives will kill the low levels and their theifing buddies come and pick up the goods...

i suppose that would be possible, although i never see any traders popping other traders, its always the thieves doing the popping

thiefing is the rouge job the less people doing it the better
the whole idea of thiefing is to go against the many to get the goods
but bots will have thief alts, hunter alts, trader alts or what ever and one main with what ever is there fav job

no you can switch jobs but you will get a serious penalty. im not sure what that penalty is exactly

no you can switch jobs but you will get a serious penalty. im not sure what that penalty is exactly
its a 7 day waiting penalty with a cash penalty also, not sure bout the cash part (in game gold of course)

WOW! that pic came out of no where i've never even seen it posted on this forum before....
anyone for once i agree with Wong Theifing is for a certain breed of ppl...all you guys who switch between thief/hunter shouldn't be thiefing in the first place and im glad you'll finnally have to choose...
also since thiefs won't be able to party with hunters i think the haveing a hunter come kill you so there thief friend can pick up your goods will slow down a bit... l
astly i think job wars will take on a whole new meaning with everyone choosing one job or the other this'll definatly influence how guilds are formed as well as unions.....a guild that primarily thiefs way want to team up with other thief guilds OR with a large merchant/hunter guild so that they have amnesty from them....this will make unions a little more exciting imo and it'll turn most job wars into guild/union wars
