I have heard people getting a +7 weapon or armour or shield but is it possible to get a +9 drop?

I think it's more likely to get a high plus armor drop than getting a weapon one just from personal experience.

3 sets of armor = 18 singe bits

while

only 5 weps and a shield

I have dropped +6 items before (never +7 or above). In one and a half year playing that hs happened about 3 times.

a 68+9 blade either dropped on venice or this fool has insanely good luck. it had no blues on it and was +9
