Using Astrals to +7

Today I decided to try and +7 my 72 spear, bought a premium just for the luck boost -_-. I bought 6 astrals and 2 immortals (the first immortal was used up on the first try ><). And ended up where I started with a +5 weapon.
So my question is... For anyone here who has +7 a weapon with the help of astrals: How many astrals did it take for you to +7?

0 astrals, just wanted teh immortal, so weapon wont go bb

Right... I know there are people who +7 with out astral... But I want to know from the ones who +7 with astral and how many did it take for them.

back in the lv. 70 cap, I used all 3000 Silk trying to +7 but it didn't work.
but at lv. 80 cap on my sun blade, took 1 try to + 7

I know it's not what you're asking but I've failed 6 times going +6 -> +7. I don't remember how many astrals I burned failing +4 -> +5 and from +5 -> +6. It was quite a few though. So if I'm ever successful, the answer will be: "tons".

It took me 4 elixirs to +4, then 1 astral to +5 which was saved. Then I took lucky stone and got it +6 and it didn't lose the astral. Then after a month or so, we went for +7 with another lucky stone added and it went +7
From what I have noticed though, the more astrals you put, the higher the chances of alchemy failing. This is what I just noticed from my past experience. So I try 1 astral / 1 immortal each time instead of putting all of them at once.

i did that today to my 72.. it took 2 imm and 3 astrals in all.. i may go to +9 but i dont know yet..
