well anyone form xian will be famillier with the name Killer75. He has a sun glaive... but instead of being in garment (or sun garment even) he's in sun armour. Now... we all know pure str should be in garms.... but i gotta say, this guy is tough.... tough as in, me and my guild 2 guild mates all high lvl can hack away with our gliaves and spears and the guy can happily run around without dieing (albeit not very fast )....

In fact it reduces a glaive hit from say roughly 5000 dmg hit to around HALF that.

This means that against any glaiver or blader this guy wont die easy.... but this is the bit i want to ask your opinions on... how about nukers?

After all, being sun armor means that the mag def is much higher than it would be anyway... so my thinking is he could certainly last long enough to shove his sun glaive up a nukers behind.

The interesting thing is too, that on xian sun armor is like half the price of sun prot or sun garm...... maybe this guy is on to something?....

i agree quite suspisious, but i think a nuker wud still hit hard.. espically if the nuke also had sun..

If your saying : Sun armour, Garms or prot. Every-one would choose garms...

but... sun armor has more mag def than regular garment right?

My opinion on sun armor for any build - it owns, duh lol.

The sun armor probably has the def of normal garment >_>, so its like super armor with normal garment combined.

And str being in garment is just to be better against ints, there is no "should be" :d.


I'd choose sun protector. cept 9th degree >.>.

I never see high lvls in armour or prot, if they are it must be sun..

my personal opinion about clothing
i always have 2 sets armor & garment (drops + stalls )
they 2 sets helps a lot in pve & pvp
when i pvp a nuker i use garment
in jobs & wars i use garment
when pvp a str i use armor
in most pve i use armor
mops like (gun powder , taoist , scorpions , earth ghost , spiders , ....etc ) i use garment with them
instead of buying a 1 expensive sos set
i buy a 2 sets with quarter the price (may be less) and pimp them later

If that Killer guy was a blader. I wouldnt even bother zerking him.

pure str with sun armor can tank at least 5 other str caracters...and i am sure he is doing pretty good against nuker too...
