It might be quite clear amongst everyone already, but the only real reason why joymax does not change the problems in SRO is because they make money out of it, and alot of it...

By now they would of made up some sort of system to help people to connect to the game or play sufficently, i.e

Botters - They take up loads of space and ruin the whole gaming experience, more and more people are commiting this crime
AFK stallers - Yet again filling up servers, the selfish twats want IG currency all to themselves...
No system to filter players to connect - I thought they should restart the server once everyday so AFK stallers and botters disconnect so other people have a chance to join...

BUT NO ! ... People are forced to buy PT to actually play, and they are getting more and more money as servers gradually are next to impossible to join... therefor they get more and more money from people purchasing PT to play the game.

They are purposly keeping botters and AFK stallers for the own greater good so people buy tickets to play.

What are you're thoughts ? Might be already clear to you but I only just realised, I thought they were like every other company

Im actually AFK stalling right now while im at work. Have been since last night. Do you actually expect me to sit there and look at my stall for hours just to sell stuff? No thanks.

Id say the biggest problems are the bots. They do more than just fill up the servers.

Lets just all petition buying silk until they release the cap and get active gms at least kicking people who don't respond and are training

I do the same thing. Stall while I'm at work. I haven't done it much lately because I don't have much to sell.

Yup, there is no way im spending the few hours i play the game a day watching my stall hoping something sells. Whether you have decent items or not, there is no guarantee that your items will sell within a certain timeframe. Even globalling sometimes yeilds no results.

Unless they implement an auction house where you do not have to be logged in to participate, you will not get rid of stallers.

The Amount of server power an afk staller takes up is so small its not really a problem until everyone had a staller while they were grinding >.>

Sorry but 30 minutes wouldn't be enough. Different people need different items. Everyone isn't on or looking at stalls 24/7 so you need to have a good time frame in order to have the buying customer see the stall.

? petty and dishy... no they were responses people should see coming when someone is cocky...

I guess this is something we have to live with... The lag, login issues... and so on...

Stallers are not the main problem... Its part of the system... But i do hate ppl who create like 3-4 stalls just because they got a few computers at home or they know a way to go around it. Its like 3 stalls lining up
"Soyoka1" "Soyoka2" "Soyoka3" Its kinda selfish.

Botters on the other hand is the main problem here. U see 4-5 botters in a grinding area. Imagine how many they r out there. I once go to a desserted farrr east area to grind with Earth Taoist.... I am amazed.... Bots are there too....

Most annoying of all, Bots do KS. and they normally 1 hit mobs

Im not going to sit here and complain about afk stalling, But there does either need to be a limited amount of time the stll stays open and then a limited amount of time before your disconnected for being afk.......


OR....

For once a free mmo that has item shop to make money (hence not completely free but optional free) Should model the stall/marketing system in their game after a p2p mmorpg.

I used to play eq2 when I could afford it, (in know some of youll will bash me just for the example im using)

In alot of p2p games though (including eq2) the market system lets you dump your items into it and set a price, it charges a fee once the item sells, but its accessable at any major town locations in the game, and you dont have to be logged on to sell, it sells the items for you.

This way you can go hunt, get a decent drop that you wont need, someone else wants that drop but they dont log on until 3 hours after youve logged off. You dont have to worry because yo took the item to the in game market, put it into the sell page (like a thrifty nickle) logged off, and it sold while you were gone.

BAM! You log back in and you got charged 10% of what you made from the item you sold, the item is gone and you have your gold. Billy is also happy although he will never meet you to thank you, Because now billy has his seven headed dragon bow of the dark flame+4. Which you thought was a piece of crap because you weild a scimmy.

if i was Joymax here's would be my problem:
1. If i ban bots. i will lost 70-80% of the population of users in each servers.
2. And the above population are my silk costumers.
3. thus i will loose a certain amount of profit er maybe larger than that.
4. if im going to ban the bots, still my Premium ticket wont be able to be a selling frenzy in the market because the GT is more affordable for the general public.

IMO, the PT is one item that would be the competition to some legit users. So they can easily get in to the game, but to think also on the other side that botters are using the PT as well....hence, JM makes a lot of profit on these. JM doesnt care if you are legit or not, as long as you purchase silk, thats what they mean busness. Iguess they ban those bots and put it in the banlist coz they are not silk users anyway. Its just my point of observation.
