i think athens had one of the biggest spawns of yetis that didnt disappear, it was crazy.

ah, I remember when this happend like 24/7 during the Christmas event.

Atleast they're not aggro anymore, though that was fun...

As i believe max number of monsters that can attack you is 6. you can't die from 6 yetis at lvl70 -.-

but u can die cuz of lag right?

6+ yeti's attacking you + lag = dead

Well if it's like lvl70 with crappy gear...like really crappy...then probably you can die from 6+ yetis

Yeah it's 6, devil yetis ganged up on me yesterday 6 of em didn't die at 57 so i doubt a lvl 70 could die.

I Dont Think the max number of htings attacking you works with npc thiefs though. from what i can remeber people saying when we had wierd thief spawns.

They're stronger too, not just more hp.

Like the first time I saw a strong penon, it hit a 4k crit on me, and I was lv 49.

They're significantly stronger.

Also, when mob scrolls first came out, lv 70's spawned level 60 yetis.

That's true, goddam things.

It was totally gay.

I had 4.2k hp, and it hit 4k crit on me, I was using large pots and tried to run away, someone was freezing it with ice nuke, and I continued to run and it hit a 4k crit on me again, and I continued to run but then it finished me off with a 2k shield throw.

Lol.. that's nice . I'd like that in oasis, only with lvl 30ish monsters so i can farm on them

monster scroll monsters are so weaaaaaaak

i had a lvl 68-71 person cant remember lvl but he spawned red eyes and they did like 300 damage to me easy pickings.

yetis splash damage
they are also blue to a lvl 70
so that means 12+ can attack you.

anyways as a lvl 70 glaiver, i died twice
as did a few others.

someone monster scrolled niya generals outside east gate DW coupla days ago. So many needless casualties xD

I figured staying a safe distance and watching the silly L20-30s trying to take them on rather amusing

thats pretty cool cuz i always thot penons resembled zombies ^_^

If you're on Tibot, I think I know who these "crazy people" are. I was summoning with them the other day and like 3 or 4 of us went murder somehow . Too bad I missed out on this one

They are actually stronger, they're as strong as a giant, but with much more HP, kind of like an elite spawn, but without the massive size, and much more hp.

In addition, you can die from being ganged. I was (as a lvl 65 blader) helping some friends level on penon spawns, which are blue to me. They don't do a lot of damage, but I also aggroed all of them to me since I was the highest level. Only 6 can spontaneously aggro to you, but if you damage anymore, they will auto attack you (as many as you hit). So, I got ganged by probably 12 or so penons (3 scrolls at once...I thought it'd be faster) and when they hit (as a group) they would hit about 200-400 each (depending on crit). Let's assume that all 12 critted, 12*400 = 4800. I had 9K hp....but using those damn pots from DW....I didn't heal enough...I felt like such a noob teleporting away....and healing....but then I stalled as in lagged out...suddenly....All the penons were walking away from me...and my char was still standing and and died then >.<

lol... that thing about level 70's dying from level 60's... Why does every thread on these forums have to turn into an argument?

man, i wasted so much money on that to make it go good.
but it was worth it imo
