Hacked.

Nothing much to say. I know these Forums are already clogged up enough with this kind of ridiculous junk, but I just wanted to say something. Hope you guys will understand.

Lost a 42 SoM+4 Bow, 100%'d Blues, 12 Critical, and 82% Physical, as well as around 5M or so...
Thankfully, I moved most of my stuff the night before, thanks to EvilDiablo, because I knew that someone had my Password. Thanks, Evil. :) RaXePhoN guild FTW... (be a great place to start for any members moving to Sparta)

My consolations go to anybody else who's been hacked in the recent days... I now know how it feels. No one else to blame, however, than me. The blame rests with me, and I accept full responsibility for what has happened.

Contempalating where to go now, from here. Quit the server? Quit SRO? Quit all MMORPGS, and move on with my life? Or what?

nooo  So sorry to hear that. Make a new account, and make the user, and pass horribly difficult to figure out?

Yeah... I know, guys. This time, the reason was because I got greedy. Someone else knew the password to my account, and I couldn't change it - trusted the guy enough that he wouldn't hack my account.

Trust doesn't get you far in MMORPG's - little kids think that just because they're behind a monitor, that they're safe. Which they are. That's also why you see people talking shit on these Forums.

Thanks for the offer. :)
But the gold that I had on Sparta, I borrowed from a friend on Athens, whom I promised to pay back. And after the stuff that I spent the gold on got hacked, I need to work back the money first, before doing anything else. Then, after I get back the money, I can decide to quit or do whatever.

Yes, I did. To Sparta. And a week later, I got hacked. Lost around 400M total, considering what was traded for the account when I switched servers.

@ Chesticles, thanks for the offer. I'll remember it if I ever need anything. :)

Actually, you're right.
However, on another MMORPG that I played, a matter of betrayed trust cost me to quit, from someone that I thought I could trust - there was too much that was put in front of him, and he sacrificed our friendship and trust for it.
Things change when you're behind a monitor.

i suppose your right. im right there beside ya too man, cuz its very hard for me to trust someone, seeing as though i'm an idiot, and have been taken advantage a few times, thats why i only trust the people i know in real life, or people that have gained my trust in some significant way

Then I'm like you. Except for the part about only trusting people who've gained my trust in some signifant way, or that I know IRL - because I trust, it seems, anybody and everybody, and it gets me into trouble. Alot of trouble.

I learned the hard way and it smacked me in the face. I trusted some dude with my account, and I get hacked 'cause of stupidity. Apparently, he kept the login info in his inbox and got scammed as he was trying sell his account online. I don't even know the answer to my security question. All that effort shoved up my ass. :banghead:

Isn't it great when something bad happens, and you come to this forum and share your experiences, and you get a big hug and lots of offers to help restart you? Gotta love the people on this forum, we are nothing without all of you(well the spammers we can live without xD ). :D
