Trick is this bladers are made to tank. If you reduce their HP they can't tank as well. Now to a small extent a limited investment in int will make your imbues hit harder and for a time will increase total damage. But the difference you can safely make without severely imparing your ability to tank is not that significant. To much int and you will be weaker over all. So being mildly hybrid is not a bad thing. But pure works and is proven.

Just remember the point of a blader. You are not going to go out owning everyone. Then again they will not own you either if you play it right. Bladers are one of the better support builds. Put em out on the front lines to take the hits while the nukers nuke. Or even hang with higher level glaives and lend that last bit of killing power they can't quite muster.

You can't keep a good blader down. Not while you are lying on the ground.

Every build can be good. But if you go hybrid, you must farm a lot and have good equipment =)

+2 not to mention that since bladers mostly use physical adding points into int will make you your combos and stuff weaker than someone who put most of there into int. Bladers a low damage build aas it is hybriding them only makes it lower.

1:1 hybbrids arent as good as 2:1 hybrids cuz most bladers dnt really need to tank alot cuz they can block, BUT they still need to hit alot so 2:1 bladers are the best since they tank and hit alot ............

i would prefer heavy hybrid cuz its the best for bladers heavy hybrids for those of you who dnt kno wat they re (from lvl 1-20 all str or int and from lvl 20+ 2:1 for int or str)

The Blader Theory :
Blader are made to be team players
They are the worst for solo missions
a perfect blader would have (bacheon+ice+force)
a blader is a must in guild wars & in high level uniques kills
For a nuker a perfect team would be a blader that knows res & force than a glavier [/b]

bladers have to crit to kill. Hybrid bladers = weaker crit. Combine that with less hp = they cant tank as well. Thats why they are bad.

pure str crits > hybrid crits
pure str dmg > hybrid dmg

Man Hybrids are so much better. Get your build right and you get the best of both worlds.

A high HP and high Attk Sword user, with killer Chains and mag attacks.

I myself am a Hybrid/INT/Sword&Shield Ice User, wearing Protector.

I mean, check this SS out. It was when i was a much lower LVL, and check the Aurmour Nunjur0 was wearing, like in his HIGH 3X possible 4X.

O, and incase you were wondering. No Rimmer did not help, he just took care of the noob next to him, and yes he did have Universall pills

My friend had a build similar to yours. He went 1:1 until 40 then changed to pure str all the way. Then at lvl 52 he wooped this lvl 59 pure int s/s ass really bad. I was like "WAT THE FARK" He was even a freaken blader and I thought they dealt the shittiest damage especially as hybrid STR. All it took was a simple KD + Double Stab.

IMO, the best way to go hybrid would be 2:1 Int Hybrid Spear. Very well-balanced.

I think Hybrids were made for Sword Users. I mean, if go Nuker, then just go for the most Mag attack. So spear is best way to go.

But Hybrid is best for Sword, cuz you get both worlds.

hybrid blade has almost no damage increase over a pure blade, there is an increase, but its not noticable at all. but what you give up IS noticeable. That is the HP and the crits. Blade can not kill anything without crits. Give up your crits and your skrewed. The HP does not really matter since you wont ever use all of it anyways.

Hybrid sword tho is a good build. They are crap until they get alchemy, then with alchemy they have a huge damage bonus to both sides of the ballance. There knockdowns and stabs hurt

Ice bladers will never kill anything

I could tank a Pure str ice blader , he was same lvl as me, and fully farmed (which im not), and im pure int spear/sword+shield.
If he attacked me, i could stand there, with full hp.

But its kinda hard to kill them too though

Always get frozen. And the pills is slow -_-"

in my way of thinging i think pure int would be good for sword/sheild as the sheidl can give you a good defence with the low hp

with a spear i think hybrid would be better as you have no sheild to defend you have to extra hp to live a bit longer..
