All these people getting blocked/hacked accounts

Post by BuddahBless »

You guys really need to keep your game login different from your forum ID.

The only thing a person has to do is check this page below...then just go down the member list on these forums and check if the ID is taken. If it is then they try a pw.

Some people even use the same email AND game login for these forums.

I tested it out just to see and theres some people on these forums where I've gotten to their secret question. All someone has to do is figure out your secret question or use a program to guess it . Then you are owned.

If you have an easy to guess ID or secret question answer I suggest you go to a random string generator, generate a 16 character or more random string, then go register a Gmail account using that string as the username. Change your account's email to that. Then just write the username and password to that account down and never use it for anything else. That effectively puts a password on changing your password. You could even set up that Gmail account to forward to your regular email account if you absolutely must receive the occasional newsletter.

If I was the one doing it I wouldn't be posting this shit on the forum. Since some people don't have common sense enough to use different ID's I'm trying to give them some common sense.

And if it doesn't apply to you just stfu. No need for the "omg g00D LucK GetTinG My info xdXdXdx". I don't want your shitty accounts.
