Hi, besides Joymaxs efforts, we should also be involved in the war against bots

Please post and share your way of kill a bot

My current way is Spawn NPC thief arround bot area, especially keep those NPC thf with lightning skills. And, stand beside a bot, let the splash kill bot...

Strength- Dont have to kill bot directly - no risk to be a murder.

Weakness- Can only kill bot much lower lvl than myself.

PLEASE CONTINUE THIS THREAD
Instead of complaining, Lets DO SOMETHING against bot

My method is really simple,
Press ALT
Click on the bot
Use your strongest attacks

stand in bot infested area spawn thiefs, use your harmony theraphy and they won't attack you but the bots instead. You get the legits too though, which makes me not do it.

if you kill the bot directly, what is the best way remove murder?
I usually ask my friend to kill me several times. Then, if i drop anything, he could pick and return to me.

I honestly was talking to my guild about this yesterday, i said i wish i just had one massive nuke just for bots and it blows them to pieces...

Back when I had a monkey (stopped buying silk), I put all my valuable gear in its inventory, died to a mob and then took off the last murder points by dieing in town.

for bots that have auto-retaliation:
Alt-click, land 1 hit, run away and make the bot chase you until you're in regular state again. The bot will continue to attack, turning HIM into an offender. Use zerk and kill him.
Pros:
-You have a chance to get a piece of the bot's gear.
-Zerking is almost a certain death to the bot (unless it's 5 or more levels higher than you).
Cons:
-You risk getting attacked by other people when in Offender status.
-The bot could kill you.
-Only works on auto-retaliating bots.

just apply my strategy... the best strategy ever :
- use a char with therapy to guard at their waypoints
- use another char to go kill bots with lightning thief until your thieves can kill continuously then your work is done

Horse FTW.

Get the whole guild to do 5* trade to taklamakan.

Do a 3-5 star and get to where the bots are, then kill the trans and run as your thiefs wreck havoc. Kill thiefs and pick up loot and finish trade. Money and bot killing satisfaction. Win win situation.

good ol' ALT + Click.

1 - thief spawns from trader, but do in low player populated area (does electric thief still work?)

2 - mob scrolls, again be wary/considerate of lower lvls nearby..

3 - for bots that auto attack - hit one & turn pink. Let him chase you for a bit - when you are normal again pop a lvl10 horse - bot attacks & kills horse and is now murder status. Jack him, and maybe he drops some equip.

*note* Only for auto-attack bots & hard to pull off if bot has a farking wolf, since u have to wait 20 secs to spawn the horse after attacked. That wolf has got hella intercept speed!

lol i murdered a bot yesterday, not making him offender i just murdered him and he dropped 49 return scrolls

After the job update there will be a trade post at Taklamakan, so you can have an even better reason to do it ^^

After the job update npc thiefs will no longer attack jobless people.

NPC thiefs will only attack hunters/traders.
NPC hunters will only attack thiefs.

1) Go stand near the bot
2) Hold down ALT
3) Click a skill
4) Grind it off
