The thing is, we know SRF is recruiting.

My question is: Who among the members of SRF has the personality and the capability of being a MOD in your opinion?

I would like to use this Format:

Reason: I've noticed cin gets along with the other SRF'ers very nicely, and always helps people out + i think he tries to make this a good community, so would take care of the sanity of the forum.

First of all, I totally agree with your comment about Cin. I think he'd make a great Mod - out of all the people that I listed below, he'd have my first vote.

Candidate: CrimsonNuker.

Section: AC.

Reason: I'm sure he applied - he kind of stated that he did. He's a great guy, IMHO, and it looks like he knows quite a bit about art, judging from the flags that he made.



Candidate: [SD]Master_Wong

Section: Any.

Reason: I have no idea why he isn't already a Mod. To me, he seems like a very helpful, and responsible SRF'er. I think that if he applied, he'd almost certainly be accepted, while leads me to the conclusion that he doesn't WANT to be a Mod. But if he was, I think that he'd definently make a good mod.


Candidate: Shadowman?

Section: Questions Answers

Reason: Not really sure about this one - but I think that if he applied, he has the potential to be a good Mod. He always takes the time to help out, and often directs noob questions to a Guide - perhaps he could be a little nicer when doing so, but whatever works. I also like the fact that, like me, he agrees that you should turn the farking caps lock off.
Besides, he's an old-school RTS player like me, and you can always trust one of those.

Yes they are, but this is not for make application but just to tell your opinion about another SRFer. To tell them if you think they deserve it, even if they don't think or want to apply.

Pure - I think the point of this thread was to kinda nominate who YOU think would make a good Mod - regardless of whether they want to be a Mod or not. Sort of just like, if us SRF'ers could pick, who we'd pick. Not the Admins and Mods, because they might pick someone completely different.

This is just a good chance to voice out who you think might be a good Mod, is all.

while the intent of this thread is admirable, and i'm sure the people nominated thus far are grateful, the whole point of this process is to be anonymous. remember, any mod chosen will have the option to have a new mod account made for them which would hide their other SRF id.

Knowing full well who you are in the SRF Community, I'd better say, with all due respect , I think you're wrong.

Cin is a great guy that gets thing done, and taken care of - when there's a question asked, he doesn't give an iffy, iffy, half-assed response. He takes the time to type out a full response, no matter how long it is, or how long it might take him. He's a nice guy, who interacts well with the rest of the SRF members, and from alot of his posts, he seems like a guy with integrity. He's also very active on these Forums.
What more could you ask from a Mod?

However, I do think that Cin would make a good Mod for the Characters Skills, or Q&A, as well.

Crumpets - I forgot about you, but I think you would make a good Mod as well.
