This isn't a topic of me complaining, because I quit sro... Luckily!

Lately I was always thinking "What if I was hacked?"
But very recently I quit to play GE.

Now, I went onto sro, because for some reason I had the urge to make a pure int ice light swordsman...
Anyways, when I got on, ol' Raini had no clothes on.
I figured it was just because I was pvping, and I do that alot. Besides, Khansaota still had on all of his clothes.
But when I got on, I had 54 gold, a lv 1 tablet, and no equipment. My skill lineup was all messed up too.

The odd thing was that I had no murder points...
I thought I might have just put all my stuff in storage, I went to my storage to see if I really was hacked and... Mymy, I had no stuff in there!

I relogged onto Khansaota, and the strangest thing was, the hacker spent alittle bit of sp on "autumn wind flame", but they didn't steal my wolf, or my gear or anything.

So, Raini is now hacked, howabout that? I'm not gonna give away my account just yet though, if at all, because Khan still has gear and stuff.
Maybe the hacker is still hacking me

Anyways, I thought I'd let you all know that... Don't know why, but there you go. Poor Raini, he was cool.

[EDIT:] Yup, I was hacked all right, not a game error or anything. I went to the main page to change my pw, I might just give away my account, but it says my account was temporarily banned for entering the wrong password 3 times, and I didn't enter it wrong 3 times.

The thing is, I have NO idea how I was hacked, it couldn't have been bruteforced, my password was very strong. I guess all cool people get hacked, lol.

hehe, SD is full atm, but we are @ 83% or so to lvl5. shouldn't take that long.

Well you arn't the only one. About 1 week ago "Sperm" got hacked They didn't get much, but only like 10 mil...I use to have a full set of sos prot 7th degree, and i trusted muh friend, and i guess he was being a jerk that day and stole all (Happened 3 months ago when i quit for venice). So i just was starting fresh...I had even boughten silk and i got hacked! And yes i changed my PW and email and all my info after my friend scammed me

Someone is trying to hack my account right now! O_O
There's not even anything of worth, I'm going crazy for never getting any nice drops

I told my ID to 2 people, but they're my 2 best friends in rl, and I KNOW they didn't hack me.
One of them sent me an email that said "Hey, I saw you on sro the otherday and I was pming you like crazy but you didn't answer.
Can I go on Rainigul yet?"

You see, I used to let him go on raini, but then I stopped letting him. Not because I thought he'd take my stuff, but because I just don't like letting other people do stuff for me.

Anyways, my ID was the easiest thing in the world to hack, I won't say it, but I'm sure you can all guess it first try.

I never accepted any files from other sro players, the people I talked to weren't after my account... At least I don't think so anyways.

Sorry man, best way to not get hacked is to have an unidentifiable ID. If you do, then sorry, someone must just be out to get you.

Yeah, if I get hacked again, that'd be dumb. But hacked accounts tend to be over level 52, and I'm not getting there again.

I have a question for you all: Should I go pure int ice/light, or pure str bow? I really like bow, and it's fun to pvp with. But pure int might be good too, right? I dunno. I might just go blade for it's awesomeness.

I think I'll purposely ONLY get to level 32, and I"ll delevel and sp farm to be totally farmed Now THAT would be badass.

If you want to keep playing SRO, and you come to Sparta, me and the guild I'm in, which includes EvilDiablo and Exality, definently would help you get started - farming gear, money, whatever you might need.

If Sparta is a little too new for you, you might want to try Athens. I know that there's atleast a few cool people there - I could hook you up with a few old friends (Grizzit, Jaique), and a few new ones (BladeCarlo, BrokenSaint), and I'm sure they would take the time to help you out as well.

well i had a pure str bow and i find it boring, the skills look the same except for the colourful arrows. all the character does is pull the string. if you really want to enjoy bow i believe you have to have a grabber, or else going to the mob and grab stuff yourself defeats the purpose of having a range and killing the mob before it comes to you. plus your arrows would take 1/4 of your inventory space, your various pots would take up 1/2, and various stuff (horse, return scroll, cape, job item, quest item, etc.) take up the last 1/4. now you dont have any space for extra pick ups

I had my eyes set on pacific because of suddendeath and a few other friends, but wow... Farming gear.
Seriously, I was just about to sell alot of stuff before I got hacked to buy some farming gear.
I'd probably stick with sparta, I want to be in a newer server.

Well, I just gave away my entire farming set on Athens to BrokenSaint, who's starting afresh, like you, there. I just moved to Sparta, so I need to get established first - what I would give you really wouldn't be anything TOO special. A SoS Bow, probably +3 or so, and an entire SoS Farming Set. Not much, but definently better than nothing.

SD, I'd take into serious consideration - first of all, you get that fancy [SD] in front of your name. Second of all, they got a great, legit Union, Clan thing going on for them, and I'm sure they would help you out. That being said, Pacific is one of the even NEWER servers, and if I'm not mistaken, MasterWong is the leader of that branch of SD? That could be your chance to leave an imprint on Pacific.

However, on Sparta, the only SRF Members I know are Exality, EvilDiablo, and Bakafish. I just moved there two days ago, and I haven't been on SRO much, so I'm not completely sure yet, about who else is there.

When you make your choice, if you DO intend to come to Sparta, let me know, and I'd be glad to help you get yourself situation into a Clan and that farming gear.

As far as you getting hacked Rain. That sux. I can guess that your ID was Rainigul or some form of that name. If your password was strong there is no way they could have brute forced it. I more than likely thing your "2 friends" owned you or at least on of them did. Or they accidently let your password slip to one of "their friends" and that person "stripped your account". Like I said before sux to hear you got hacked. But like I tell everyone who shares their account with "a friend" beware because no matter what, greed is the strongest human emotion, next to the drive to have sex lol.

I know they didn't hack me. I was gonna say "I'm sure you all think my friends hacked me", but they didn't: For one, they both have too much of a life to spend days hacking my account (That isn't supposed to offend anyone). And second, they play on Pacific, not troy, so why hack a trojan? Third, They just wouldn't hack me.

I think I'll stick with pacific then, thanks for the offer and stuff, but yeah, my eyes have been on pacific for about 3 weeks now, so I think I'll fullfill that.

The only thing is, I'm still not sure what build to pick.

in every single mmorpg i have played there have always been hacked accounts and i have never been hacked once. im not implying anything but im just saying keep to yourself dont be isolated just dont give any info out to anyone that might lead them to your account. as we have seen before they were many ppl that lost there accounts to their "friend" out of stupidity but be safe and use protection lol, but i know youll get back on your feet
