well its not really a trick it just makes logging in easier/tempting, i always close my eyes that moment when i click on connect and i hope that i dont get to hear that 'ping'.
it makes login in more easier, well atleast for me
you could also dl softmod and dual client login that goes alot faster too

I was like aww how cute, I can picture someone squeezing their eyes shut in front of the comp like "pls pls pls"

I thought there wasnt anything wrong with SM (that sounds naughty too doesnt it?) I mean softmod ofc. I thought softmod wasnt THE bot on its own.

I can completely wrong but im a noob if it goes about botting

i didnt think so either, is it even 3rd pt software? if so, it couldnt be abused anyway, you still can only play one char at a time even with dual client

or just buy a premium xD

What u say is not the reality. After u click connect, u have to enter the image verification code. After that u have to click "confirm"... Closing your eyes or not wont help anything. Your eyes are your eyes and have nothing to do with your pc or the server traffic

On a side note, logging in used to be based on how fast u could type the verification code.. how is it done now?

lol of course not. but it almost turns logging in into a game.

I had a trick before I got my PT. Enter the image code but wait instead of confirming. Hopefully you'll get the next available slot rather that fighting 20 people for the one you already have.

Nearly always used to work for me except for the days where I couldn't even get as far as the image code.

not being able to log in is not that bad but the disconnect message just because a server is full is incredible annoying
if people can`t still log in with the premium please but please send a bug report each time it happen, lets hope that will improve the customer support.

Wait ... "ping"? ... Oh right, this game has sound ... long time no hear ... :X

I have teh bestest way to get into the game 100% of the time. Wanna know what it is? Stay logged in 24/7 do not log off of the game. When you go afk put your char in a area with little movement. And hope that a premium member doesnt disconnect you

Of course it's 3rd party software. Microsoft Word 2003 is 3rd party software. The GIMP is 3rd party software. Anything that's made by a 3rd party (basically by anyone except Joymax and YOU) is 3rd party software.

The problem with softmod (at least from Joymax's perspective) isn't simply that it can be used for botting, it's that it modifies the silkroad client software.

Yeah totally, there's no tricks at all, you wanna play during the day, you buy a PT, sod spending 20 minutes trying to login.

Didn't you know, that's the new quest. It's available at any level. Quest goal: Try to log in! If successful, the player is rewarded with lag-filled playing time until a PT holder kicks them off. Quest is repeatable as many times as you want.

You can even do the quest in groups. See who can log in the fastest.

or u can just buy premuim ticket.

The trick is to go premium? Only one thing wrong with that, what if everyone was premium? Mmmm... I wonder who would be pushed off then? No one has really put some thought into this, how stupid this option is from Botmax.

Yeah, pay premium to get into a server which is overloaded, but then again, get even more people to pay to get into a server which is overloaded with... bots. Pay to play with bots. Mmm.. so.. wanna pay?
