I know that any mob can drop SOS. My question is, can any mob drop SOM and SoSun, or is it the higher lvl mobs for that particular tier of weapon or clothes degree?

No, any mob can drop SoM or SoSun weapons.

Niya Snipers have a very large SoSun drop rate, though.

I guess the chance of getting an sox item increases depending on the spawn rate and how fast you kill them.

Thats what I heard, and that is the reason I was asking about it.

I am a pure int spearman, so I kill rather quickly, I have already gotten a lvl 52 SOS Spear from the ice. Hopefully I can get some more.

Just got this a few minutes ago off of a Ultra Flower. I guess spawn rate is the only thing to look for i guess.

It happens that lower level mobs drop higher level SoX. Friend got a sun prot chest level 37 from an earth taoist.

Not any mob can drop SOM and SOSUN, only those i dont grind on

Well heres how i got them...lvl1 sos from a mangyang, som from a weasel and sun from a tiger, sos 2D from a tiger, som from a black tiger, sosun from a bandit including sos 3rd degree, never got som 3rd degree, but i got a sosun bow from an earth ghost... do you see the pattern? For me only the first mobs of a new degree dropped the previous degree sosun.

I never got a sosun from a mob that drops 1st or 2nd tier weapons, and everyone knows that sos/som/sosun are tiers of rare type items, so as far as i know mobs that drop 1st tier weapons drop sos, 2nd tier drop som and 3rd tier drop sosun.. so if i wanted a 8th degree sosun I'd grind on mobs that are 76 and higher >.>

Well heres my theory

mobs that Drop 1st Teir Equipment have the most chance to drop SOStar

and have less chance of Dropping SOMoon and even less of SOSun

mob that drop 2nd teir equipment have the most chance to drop SOMoon

and less chance of droping SOStar And SOSun

and mobs that drop 3rd Teir Equipment have the most chance of dropping SOSun

and have less chance of dropping moon and star

since the 80 Cap the reason why so much sun has been found becasue niya gens and snipers(Not to sure about snipers) are programmed to Drop 9D Stuff and there for drop 3rd teir 8D Equipment

Reason for bots getting more sun the legits why?
becuse most of em AFAIK they grind without a GT/PT so they grind Twice as many mobs therefor increasing there chances of SOX drops
