somewhat newbie needs advice

Post by drkstone57 »

i just recently came back to playing silkroad after a year off and i need some help, advice from those that have been playing all along.
1. my character just hit 20th level, and i was wondering if i really need to pick a job or can i just go on doing quests and such?
2. i have several characters on several servers and want to know if this is a good idea or should i just stick to one or two servers.,
3.if a job is required how do i start that job, and what does it mean when it says you have to wait for ten minutes for job uniforms or what ever
okay, basically i need someone to hold my hand and walk me through this mess okay?
anyway, thanks in advance

you dont need a job and if you choose to act one its not permanent.

you can switch between jobs but when you unequip a job suit you must wait 10min before you can equip it again/ equip another job suit.

or you can teleport and the waiting penalty is lifted.

at lvl 20 its advised that you only act as a trader doing 1-star trades, but even then its risky.

i would say around lvl 42+ success in jobbing gets a little more realistic.

and you should stick to a SINGLE server, even two i think is too much because eventually you will like one server more than the other and people you know from the *bad* server will miss you or not want u to leave or youll miss them or w/e.

just stick to one and lvl up your char and meet people and enjoy :)
