One man has a Dream...

I had a dream that Silkroad Online was a great game, Electronic Arts bought over the rights from Joymax.

-Was a complete wipe of all characters.

-Was made Pay 2 Play, therefore getting rid of stall bots and multiclient bots.

-Had 5GM's per server that really cared for the game and Bots banned on sight

-Auction House was implemented (Items still sold while Offline-Frees server spaces)

-Stupid bugs like, the Fire Shield-Bird buff stays when using Glaive, Fire Shield stays without a Shield ect...

-New Skins were added to armour-All stats same, just an option to have it look different, for EG 3 skins per Degree of armour.

-Cap was rerolled to 60, last cap being 80

-New uniques added

-Map made bigger, much bigger

-Trading outposts

-Job Update

-Guild Updates, where GM can see all members ect, more guild events.

-Server Events added, pre-organised Server trade by GM's

-More skills added

-Immunity Bug fixed

-Alchemy was reduced, only INT/STR-Crit Ratio-Block Ratio, could be
changed.

-Pets bought with gold, and last 4 eva.

-Horse Summon, a horse that doesnt die when u get off, can be named and personalised.

-Europe did not do 10x the amount of dmge as Chinese, and did not have a 30 sec wait on pots.

-Character CUSTOMIZATION, Avatars made customizable, like on EA's games change hair colour, eyes, lips, jaw ect ect.

-Brilliant customer service, players listened to, and player ideas taken into consideration.

One man has a Dream...

Question is would you be prepared to start again, with all this added, and no bots.

WOuld you be prepared to pay as much if not more than WoW costs?

In my opinion, if this was implemented, Silkroad Would--->WoW, any day.

Post ur opinions =)

Its not about playing WoW, and that wasnt a very constuctive post =/, would you be prepared to reroll on a dream silkroad game, even after spending money on silk, and having to pay a monthly fee.

Post any more suggestions you have, ie-Improving Silkroad

Btw, im going to try and get a company to buy out silkroad, as i feel money is to be made on this game, if the owners see that so many people play sro then you never no....

lol how will that stop the multiclient bots? this bot user would really spend the money so they can bot on each account and sell the gold still makeing more profit..

Hey, if there were 5GM's to each server, then who would pay on this game, to bot and therefore run a real risk of being banned?

Do not relate this to our SRO, i mean a new SRO run by a caring company, if the game was made to buy in the shops, like WoW is, then who is gna buy 7-10 games in a shop, to run a huge risk of being banned and selling 0 gold. If everone paid the same to play, and paying for SRO was not optional, then the GM's would not care if they buy Silk before deciding to ban them.

But those 5 GMs won't always be on. They have lives too.

^5 gms per server, they could take diffrent shifts so there's constantly a GM online.

I would re-roll in a second, the reason i quit silkroad is because of Joymax.

Lol EA is a good game company unlike Joymax. If Ea bought it I doubt there would be as many BOTs, less server lag, more items and maybe euro implemented faster.

Paying would only be good with the new ideas implemented. But I like FTP games like 9dragons and GE so I don't think I wanna pay

Good Ideas BTW :)

You made me lol :P

OT:
I would be willing to reroll, and pay if they had some of the above and more. A lot more. I'm too lazy to list what will actually make me spend money on this game.

EA isn't that good of a company, their sports were good, but now they suck. No unique features at all and the same thing over and over again.

Honestly i dont mind people saying that its a stupid idea, i know that its very farfetched, i just feel that if silkroad was to change hands, not EA specifically, im glad to see that some people agree that it would bring about a better gaming experience even if we dont agree on certain changes ect.

Keep posting, i want to know what you guys would like implemented =)

Wiping and re-rolling the cap would be plain stupid, atleast 50% of the current players would have spent quite a decent amount of money on silk, for it all to be wasted?

Re-rolling cap would render 8D useless, therefore useless data in the folder and such. First thing that should be done about the game itself, is revamping the whole exp system, or perhaps add some decent quests, or something of the sort..

most of that list is going to be added.. and most of the remaining is bullshit.
You know what this game REALLY needs? First the bot problem needs to be solved offcourse, and how?

1. They have to make a UBER DUBER SUPER HIGH SCALE BOT SCAN FOR ALL BOTS and then dont ban them but give them a first and last warning and put them under surveillance and if they dont stop botting for once and for all they will get banned(they wont ban all botters at once because they will loose so much money.. so this would be good i think)

2. The quest's are just too simple and boring. Just kill kill kill kill kill, they have to make the quests more interesting, for example: Go and kill the Niya general leader(you get teleported to a place where you are alone and get attacked by 40 niya generals and after you kill the 40 of them you run into a Niya general who uses Bicheon/heuksal/pacheon skills and has just as much hp as a Strong Niya general and his attacks are as strong as a guy ~2/3 level lower then you.

this way the not only the remaining bots will have it harder to complete this quests but the quests will also be ENJOYABLE (atm they are VERY BORING)

If anyone else here plays the battlefield franchise you know what Im talking about, but EA isnt perfect, they have more bugs than any games I can think of atm
