Im trying to farm for an SoS bow and im unsure of what to kill for that level. Someone told me they found theirs at white tigers, others at Chakji workers...anyone know any information, it would be of a lot of use, thanks in advance.

Mobs that drop bows will drop an Sox, but rarely

Ex. Hyeongcheons drop Gold General Blade (THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE )

Now they can drop lvl24 General Blades (SoX) too because theyre same deg. only SoX, you just need luck and magic from a bag down there

I got a lvl 16 sos bow from a giant white tiger. Try killing tigers

I believe I got my lvl 16 sos bow from Chakji or the workers, try seeing which one drops lvl 16 items.

^As said above you can also get it from giants, I got a 24 sos bracer from a ghost soldier giant.

I guess its white tigers it is to farm at...any other suggestions/comments?

Depends on your luck. Mobs can drop sos items 1 degree higher than their level (ex. a lvl 12 bandit archer dropping lvl 20 sos armor pants) so i would say the best chance at finding a lvl 16 sos bow would be on mobs lvl 10-20 but this depends on how lucky/unlucky you are because a lvl 20 mob could end up dropping a lvl 24 bow instead of a lvl 16.

someone in Olympus got a sun lvl 16 bow from a Bandit giant outside of the den while i was farming, dropped with crit 13

and lvl 16 SOS blade from bandits

I got SOS Blade 16 lvl from bandits, inside stronghold.
But once i got lvl 24 SOS Sword from YOUNG TIGER.
So i don't really know where to drop, i just drop.

i never got any sox 16 but i heard from friends they got dropped by bandits
too.

I got two level 16 sox drops from bandits bowmen in the same day.

I got a 16 sos glaive from white and black tigers, cant remember which exactly but i was doing the tiger tooth quest.

I got a lvl 16 SOS bow from a Waterghost.

Lol, I was waiting for Tigergirl along time ago and I saw an SOS lvl 16 in my bunny's inventory

SOS items drop 1 degree in either direction of the mob you are killing.

EX. bandit archer is 2d so they can drop deg 1,2,3 sos items.

Also They only drop sos in items that they normally drop. If you notice that a mob doesn't drop earings, then it cant drop sos earings.

Ive done the first 2 hunt for white tigers and Im currently doing it the 3rd time and have 60 furs AND NOT A SINGLE SOX DROP!!!. That would make at least 260 white tigers killed, not counting those that didnt drop the quest item, so Ill add some extra 80 tigers so that would make around 340 tigers killed with NO SOX drop

some people go from lvl 1-80 without an sox drop.
so dont expect to find one that easily.

actually Im not actually looking for a drop, just doing the quest but I though it was actually useful to put the amounts of tigers down without a SOX drop

at already have 6 sos drops at lvl 18

1 lvl 8 sos ring at stones ghost
1 sos lvl 12+3 full 3 blues (not sure of the exact lvl) earring heowa (not sure of the spelling ^_^)
1 lvl 12 sos sword heowa (not sure of the spelling ^_^)
1 lvl 12 sos garment boots at heowa (not sure of the lvl ^_^)
1 lvl 16 sos female garment pants (not sure of the lvl) at bandit archers
1 lvl 19 sos crown (not sure of the name)


and i found an ordinary lvl 16 glavie but +4 at bandit archers

any monster within that degree isnt? :S
