Dunno about Antivir, but JM made a deal with Kaspersky to not include SRO_Client.exe as a trojan in the new updates. That means even if it acts as one it is in Kaspersky whitelist now on...

It's not a virus you idiot, it wasn't a virus, it was never a virus. What it was is a "false positive".

They didn't make a "deal", I have no idea where you pull that one from because that it not the case at all. The engines of these few AV were failling at detecting the game .exe in a correct manner because it uses port 21 as a communication port.

And no, they didn't put it on their whitelist, they simply corrected their mistake.

So again, there was no virus, there was screwed up Av engines tho, mine wasn't.

Problem solved. I deleted my own sro_client.exe and then I downloaded a clean sro_client.exe. I uploaded the clean exe-file if someone needs it.

http://depositfiles.com/files/936378

1. Open the link.
2. Push FREE
3. Then u see time that u have to wait.
4. After the time is up verification code appears. Put it into the box and push [Download the file]

I do not what to argue about this, because it is endless. But some anti virus programs do not let u play the game if the file contains virus. Like I could not. I deleted it and downloaded clean sro_client

Im guessing its a a information sending "packets" that sends info from your pc to see if you are running the right client and such. Maybe, the way joymax is catching botters. Lately they havent even pmed people, the just went with the ban =)

Its not a virus, but does act like one. A legal one to ensure you are not cracking.
