As you can read on this forum in 3 of the 5 topics is something about Bots. Now, there are some people, like me, who don't know what Bots are. For what I have learned from this Forum is that it are like, automaticly playing or something?? Or what ever. So, with this topic I want to know what Bots are, how you recognise them, how you can report them and and, everything else.
It's not like I wanna but still because I realy don't know what they acturly are...

Bot is a program that does EVERYTHING for you, from going to town and getting pots/repair to going Berzerk when you go for a Giant. Players can just turn on the bot, go to school, sleep and when they come back they're a level up and didn't have the pain of grinding the level.
You can recognize bots by a lot of things, in time you'll find out. The only thing you need to know is that they're not there playing the game. You can KS them freely, steal drops, do whatever you want and they won't do anything back.

oooh I think I saw one a while ago... he was also 22, and he was dead. I resseructed him a vieuw times but he didn't reacted at all to my tries to safe him... could that have been a bot???

and unless oher players he said nothing like: [resssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss] or in that manner... wierd eh?

On most of the servers 80% of the players you see training are bots.

And in some areas you will see swarms of bots. It's so bad you can't even grind or do quests. I remember I first saw bot swarms while training at Chajki Workers. I couldn't get a kill to save my life. :<

I think this was the point of it. ;o

The first kind of bot you will notice is the "gold bot". If you go to town and there is someone spamming: go to sup=gold.com buy 10mill for $10.00

They use a primative bot program to get this gold. You will see glavie bots in armor or bow bots using cold imbue.

There names are sometimes like Fgghlsomm.
They sometimes are in guilds, sometimes not. They never have a union symbol though.
They also move weird, and you will spot them easily.
Gennerally they don't use any kind of buffs.

The other kind of bot is for personal players who are to lazy to play the game, yet still want to make it miserable for everyone else. They are addicted to the power of being high level.
These are more advanced and harder to detect, you will see them more once you get to higher levels.

The TS didn't know what a bot was... so we're just explaining what it is, is all.

those Bot programs must be very advanced if, say like they can do trade and theif arrands for you while you are not there.. or that they can switch from china to western china when the character has reached the level that they can safely grind chakji's and stuff.. but, it probably costs money so i'm not interested in things you gotta pay for... I'd rather play myself then and wait till I can finally play even if it takes me all night... ^^

but, SRF can't be Botted, right? SG or LAs topped something, but... it can't be, right?

I bot on SRF all the time 90% of the posts I make are not actually me but my bot. Joke.

nice spirit you got there hope you continue i love people who have goals and will do anything (legally) to achieve it, keep it up

guess you are talking about the strict rules about it on srf, yes SG will hit the ban hammer or the lock the gate when he see anything about it

Actually, aren't there such things like spambots for forums?

Forum bots are apparently the topics you see which have almost nothing to do with anything on the forum, then in the topic is like 50 links to some ad crap.

smart, but hey, why would you want to bot? if i'm right now that is letting an expensive program do all the playing for you.. and why would you wana play if a program does all the work? for ir is or the fun.. I played R.O.S.E, R.S., and now S.R.O, and played them all honest and still now... i mean,why game then? only for he power of being high in a game? about being better then everyone?? well i can say nothing less than: SAD! sad for your own and or the game, and i am very sorry for all you botters out there that they have such a lazy mind to not even play one simple game on their own. as this game is about getting higher with friend and on your own... if you have no friends on lvl 80 than you have absolutely failed in this game! so play by yourself and make friends, join parties and DON'T BOT!

Botters just do it to be high lvl, they wanna "be the strongest", but don't wanna work for it, so they cheat.


I also played rose, it was a fun game during pre-hacked Irose lol.

Cause leveling/SP farming in sro is really boring, same actions for hours a day every day. Quests that aren't really quests just kill a lot more of the same mobs.
So simple you can let a small program do it for you.

That is SRO's first problem, its to simple.

Second problem is they ignored the problem for to long so a big part of the population is botting now. I think if they really wanted the game to be fair again for everyone ( except silkbuyers offcourse ) they should just implement their own bot so everyone could use it.

Anyway when europe is added to the game it should make playing a bit more fun cause of the bigger team play in that *race* less bots more fun.

I hope europe comes soon so the normal worlds will be less crowded because everybody is in europe=) and when nobody wants to play in europe anymore I will have that whole plane for myself *muohahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!* hmm... a bit too freaky??
