Does the TOTAL mastery level affect how much SP u receive while training? Or is it only the HIGHEST total mastery level?

Highest individual series lvl.

eg.
character lvl:14
skills:fire lvl 12 light 10 bicheon 10
gap: 2 (higher the gap higher the sp)

so the TOTAL mastery level has nothing to do with the amount of SP u get?

Nothing at all.

Only thing with total is u can only have 300 max (with the lvl 80 cap) so u have to be careful not to lvl up to many things. If you look at it it will say 120/300 of whatever u hit 300 = no more lvling the skills.

is it always gonna be a 300 cap or will it change eventually???

I think the gm's said its not gonna be raised from 300 ever.

I think that's right and it will allow you to max two masteries. There will soon be a lot of people hunting for cursed hearts.

I thought about that but it drives me crazy trying to walk without grasswalk. Even shopping in town, I usually employ grasswalk. It will get interesting seeing what people choose and the builds will be more diverse, I suspect. I think it might actually be a lot cooler not raising the mastery cap beyond 300.

I guess this way the higher the lvl the less everyone is gonna have all the buffs and stuff.
