Frosta Nova any good?

I found out last night while grinding, I was using Flying Dragon + Soul Spear Truth + Ghost Spear Prince on Penons. I decided to raise ice up for the buff and i thought i might aswell try frosta nova. Now i do Flying Dragon + Frotsa Nova + Soul Spear Truth + Ghost Spear Prince.
Now the Penons hit me once but it is a bit slower than killing them normally and taking 2 hits. I was wondering should i go with speed and more pot consumption or go with a tiny bit slower and saving 1 hp pot every penon? Thanks.

While you can afford it id go with speed every time but if you want to make a bit more money then use nova wind. its up to you tbh ^^

hm funny thing is... i did the same thing when i was on penon so i guess it is a good thing

frost nova is life-saver for ints when a lot of mobs aggro on you,
thats one the most usefull skill in cold tree,
pity that (almost) everyone is immune against it so is pointless in (serious) pvp

I heard when the cap will be raised, there won't be any immunity
Is it true?

Nothing will be done about the immunity. It will still be achievable I think. Even if fireshield is turned into absolute reduction (instead of procentage), immunity will be hard but still achieavable.
ON topic:
At low levels, frost nova is spec. good for archers:
Nova -> ghost walk -> fire/ice wall -> strong bow etc.
