Listen up guys, i'have had it with my high lvl char, so i decided to make a new one, i dont want to make the best build but the most fun, so i'll make a bowman.

Now the big question is should i farm or not ? This is important to me, i wanna have fun so i hate farming, but i also dont want to get stuck cuz i dont have anymore SP left when i'm higher lvl. And a 16 SOM+5 bow will cost me 100 mill so need to be sure .

So tell, should i do it or not ?

Farm your azz off at lvl 16 and enjoy the rest of the game as you 0 gap past those who waited till the ice... like me.

but how much should i farm, i dont have to farm all @ one lvl, dont mind if i farm at a higher lvl, but how much should i farm @ lvl 16 ?

I would advice u to farm 200k, but if u farm at least 100k It will be nice too.
PS: save your gold and silver ticket to the fort...

i farmed 150 not k at lvl16 at then i didn't konw wats farming and noiw i regret it

I would not farm, but that is me. I leveld with a 3-4 gap until level 52 and could take 4 trees with me. But that is me, if you wanna be smart farm at level 16 like 100k.

u mean 150k isn't enough for a while ?o.0

i never farmed till 70 and i too carried 4 trees the whole way. i maintained a 4-5 lvl gap and had no problem w/ lvling or SP.

but u took longer to level, and u where weaker that those in your level with a 0 gap.

Man he probably took the same amount of time to lvl as farmers. You forget farming can take a few months. They don't magically get all that sp to lvl fast. ;o

no only just 150 or was it 400 don't really remember and i am gap 1 ,2 now

There are some reasons why so many people farm @ lvl 16 in the fort u know!?
1st No where else in the game mobs spawn so many so fast.
2nd Since lvl 16 is the 1st 3rd degree weapon u can buy an sos.
3rd With a sos bow +3 @ least and only an imbue and the lvl 7 bow skill u can 1 hit kill bandit archer easily.
4th If u don't want to stay bow after that, it's easy, since u can do the cursed heart and u wont spend much money cos u only had 1 skill to begin...
5th Farming @ the fort it's really really fast. I have a char @ lvl 16 and I'm farming it and I have another one high lvl str glavier that I'm farming too, so whe I play with the glavier in 4hours of sp farming I win the same amount of sp that I win in 1 hour sp farming in the lvl 16 char @ the fort...

if your gonna get a som do alot of farmin early like 100k or there abouts...then ya can wait till 52 or 64 to do the rest

play with 4 level gap all the time

im gonna farm at 60, lets see how that works out

I didn't farm, it's a game not a job don't forget that
if you gap 4-5 all the time you won't have any problems till lvl 60-80 many people farm at that lvls

You lot are forgetting one important thing about farming at 16.. every man/woman/child/bot and their dog are there doing the same thing, which kinda makes the fast spawns redundant.

The cost of the bow should have no effect on your decission. If you buy it for 100mill, then sell it when you are done for 100 mill. Don't buy a bad deal thats all.

If you don't want to farm, then gap. What ever you want it is up to you.

I rather farm that is just me though.

im at lvl 45 and a pure str bow with fire light and pach maxed and lvl 30 heuksal for passive.

i lvled with a 0 gap.

now im gonna open the gap to about 5 and lvl to 72.

u farmed 20k in 1 week ? , what were u using ? GT ?

Just farm 100k it should be enough to support 2 masteries (weapon/force) then farm at later levels for other force masteries.

thats 3K a day, lets say 1 sp per kill= 3000 kills, 300 kills per hour = 10 hours of farming each day

You dont think its possible to get 3K sp in 3 hours...? Get a SOM +5 bow, you'll chamge your mind. 3K sp x 7days = 21k SP

If you are going to build a Str base Hybrid Bow I suggest you farm at 16 with that SOM.

You kill alot faster at 16 with your SOM Bow. Killing slow at high lvl will really prolonged your farming time.

farming is a waste of time. I get like 10x the SP exp at lvl 40 than I did per kill at lvl 16. You have to keep de-leveling, you never get any drops worth anything, after you're done you still have to level up a whole bunch, even if you save 10,000 SP that's like nothing to you when you're lvl 70. In short, level up as much as possible. The ONLY advantage of farming is you might be able to get to about 30-40 with a 0 gap so your skills will be a hair better. Other than that there's absolutely no reason to waste your time with it. If you want to have 5 skill areas like me, just leave a 7 gap and let yourself level away normally. You'll have more than enough SP plus get good drops, be able to do quests, and won't be stuck at 16 forever. Yeah you'll be 7 lvls behind in skills but so freakin what, you'll be getting SP way way way faster and leveling so it doesn't matter.
btw for everyone who's gonna bitch, you cannot and should not try to get enough SP to last you forever at alvl 16. It goes like this:
you always get the same amount of SP exp per kill while farming. But the lvl U want to be able to leave a 0 gap until keeps needing more SP. So let's say you always get 1 SP per kill, which btw isn't true but pretend it is. Okay so if you want to be able to have a 0 gap until lvl 30, you'll need like 40,000 SP or something and let's say that takes 100 hours to do. If you want to be able to go until 35 with 0 gap, you'll need like 50,000 SP so let's say that takes 120 hours. Well what if you wanted to farm so you can get to 45. That'd take you like 250 hours. 50 could be 500 hours. 60 could be more time than you could possibly play. So basically why farm at 16 when it gets harder and harder and harder to get enough SP to remain at a 0 gap (and have multiple skill areas), which btw is the point of farming.
If you leave a 7 gap, you get let's say 1 SP per kill at lvl 16 and at 25 you get 2 SP per kill and at 35 you get 3 SP per kill so you never run out while still always being able to kill less monsters than you would have to at 16. I'm sure that all confuses you so just remember, farming is a retarded waste of time unless you only start doing it at like lvl 50-60

oh and why the hell not, I'll mention the real strategy. Why agonize over killing tons of monsters at low lvls to get a few SP? Burn it up to like lvl 40 with just fire and bow and a 0 gap cuz at 40, you can walk out and kill like 20 monsters and have enough SP to level electricity to lvl 10 with full skills. That would have taken like an hour of farming at lvl 16 when it could take you 2 minutes instead. Go out and kill like 1000 monsters at 40 and you've got enough SP to level everything to a point where farming would have gotten you, except with farming you would have needed to kill like 100,000 monsters. I'm surprised most ppl don't figure that out.
